Colorful Telugu wedding in Hyderabad.

South Indian weddings tend to make for some of the best pictures- perhaps because they are morning affairs with a ton of hustle bustle and color, or perhaps it's because of some of the unique customs which  make for great photo ops. This Hyderabad affair shot by Amar Ramesh features a beautiful bride in a raspberry pink Kanjivaram and a couple that has known each others' family since childhood.

Meet Sahithi and Krish

Sahithi recounts "We met at my cousins baby shower party , and  though that was the first time I saw him, I have known his mom from childhood. After that party I was in touch with him as I was applying for internships in his company ( I was doing my masters at that time )  and somewhere in between, work and  long conversations we felt something special"

From the bride: Once our parents knew about us, they were only too happy and wanted us to get married , but that didn't mean it was any less romantic :). I was proposed to at Brooklyn Bridge and it was beautiful! In terms of the actual wedding prep, our parents really planned the whole event for us, I was involved mostly in my outfits and dance preparations for the sangeet but for everything else our parents pulled it off !
