There is that one moment for a bride you know. That moment when she is surrounded by her sisters, or her brothers or her dad , when she is just moments away from entering her wedding and all eyes are going to be on her. The moments right before it - when you feel that flutter of nervousness in your tummy- don't forget to do a quick check on these things.

  • Get Your Can-Can Fluffed By a Bridesmaid

From the time you wore your lehenga, waited for the baraat and started the walk to the aisle- your extra poofy can can may have become just about somewhat poofy . Worry not though, get a bridesmaid to go sit on the floor and yank up the can can by pulling the bottom edge of the can can upwards. This will ensure you get that disney princess flare you always wanted.

  • Hand Over   Lipstick & Vaseline To Your Sister

Trust us, smiling incessantly = annoying. Besides with that long stay lipstick you have on, your lips are going to feel dry and chapped pretty quickly. Make sure your sis has a tube of Burts Bees, or Vaseline or whatever else your lips drink up. The other think- buy a lipstick in the same color as the one that is on you and hand that over to a friend. You will need frequent touch ups.

  • Check If There Is Enough Loose Dupatta Between The Head And Shoulders

So sometimes, one of the top mistakes makeup artists do- they pin the dupatta on your head, and take it straight down to pin it on your shoulders. The result- your head is frozen in place and you cannot move. Not only does this make for awkwards photographs, it is also immensely uncomfortable for the bride. Make sure that there is enough loose dupatta fabric between the top of your head and your shoulders.

  • Ask Your Photographer To Click a Photo With The Girls

You will forget about it later on , so use this opportunity to click a quick photo with the girls. Also take a peek at that photo and check all your makeup looks like its in place !!
  • Splash Some Perfume, Grab a Mint

It may be your wedding, but treat it like the most important date of your life ;) Don't forget to dab some perfume and grab  a mint (not a chewing gum) to ensure everything goes smoothly.
