A Beautifully Intimate Wedding With Only 100 Guests And A Customised Bridal Outfit
BY Aakanksha Magan | 09 Jan, 2019
There's something about small, intimate weddings that capture our hearts. There's something really nice and refreshing about seeing couples do things simply. Like this one! They had a wedding with just 100 guests and they ensured that their wedding was an environment friendly wedding. From wooden cutlery, to the organic food served, and keeping the guest list to just 100, this wedding was definitely one to look up to! This was also a wedding where the love was in the details, quite literally! From the names being embriodered on the dupattas of both the bride and the groom to the coordinated looks they carried, this was truly a celebration of the love the bride and groom shared. The bride wore a beautiful living coral lehenga by The Mystical Closet, and Amanpreet Photography captured their timeless moments beautifully while Karma Lakelands served as the perfect backdrop for their most memorable day!
Meet Tanvi & Bhuvan
From The Bride:
My husband and I both just wanted a small wedding. We had 100 guests for the main wedding. We wanted to be environmental friendly so our wedding favors were made of recycled material, the food served was organic, spoons and straws were wooden. Throughout the wedding, both of us planned multiple surprises for each other. We wanted our wedding to be sacred, we wanted every ritual to be done meaningfully. We wanted to represent our love for each other in little ways, like his stole and my dupatta had our names stitched on them, so when they were tied together for the pheras, it read as Tanvi and Bhuvan. For our engagement, we got a cake with little cake versions of our dogs. A majority of our vendors were from WMG.
I unknowingly, happened to have an all girl bridal team, my baker, my photographer, outfits, makeup. It was amazing. My photographer-Aman is the second love of my life. She's sooo amazing, she's so humble. She's the best, I couldn't ask for better. She just knew what to say to keep me calm. I have no words to explain how much she means to me. My designer- Takshla was another such blessing in disguise. She's been on my 'bride to-be to finally a bride' journey from day one. From my roka to my pugphera, to my first karwa chauth, to diwali, she's made each and everyone of our outfits. She's styled me as well. I owe my looks to her. I absolutely HATE shopping, and she just made it all happen, I couldn't have done it without her.
