Questions we wonder about in the shower - When a designer gets married, does she wear her own label? When a Makeup artist ties the knot, does she do her own makeup , and when a photographer gets married then who does she call to photograph her own wedding? Well we got one of those answers today as photographer Tania Seth's colorful, fun filled Delhi wedding was shot by the amazing Creative Lens team. Love the use of leheriya in Mehendi decor and lusting over her gold outfit (So pretty!)As far as outfits are concerned, I’m not a typical girly girl and I don’t appreciate bling at all! I wanted simple, elegant and most importantly, very different outfits for my wedding. Especially the bridal lehenga. My wedding lehenga was exactly the kind oI was looking for. It was not one of this run of the mill lehengas that we see in almost all the shops in Delhi. The design was traditional yet unique. For my engagement and mehndi, I went for a golden anarkali which I wore like a gown. Although I’m not a big fan of sequins, I fell in love with the dress the moment I saw it in Karol Bagh. There are so many people who did a standout job at my wedding- right from our caterer who made Navratri special food (our guests all called us later just to appreciate the food) to my lesser known but amazing decorator. Ofcourse the creative lens team, as well as my makeup artist who does a good job and is quite reasonable as well. Meet Tania and VarunThey were introduced through a common friend, which first led to some frequent and late night whatsapp exchanges. This led to their first date and the rest as they say is history.
From the bride: Finding a photographer for my own wedding was one of the most difficult decisions in the entire wedding planning process. Mostly because being a photographer myself, I was being very critical of other photographers’ work and examining every single details in their photographs. I contacted quite a few but nothing seemed to fit. Then one day, while on Facebook I came across The Creative Lens. I opened their page, saw a couple of photos and that was it! I had found what I was looking for and I have to say I made the right decision. My wedding functions and pre wedding were shot by Shweta who is really good at her work. I’m really happy with the pictures!
