A Destination Wedding in Krabi, Thailand: Punita & Amit

It's no surprise that this couple chose an International destination for their wedding- after all, their love story spans continents! Amidst the absolutely spectacular beaches of Krabi, this one makes me want to jump right into that poolside  mehendi function and party alongside. With a venue as breathtaking as this, there is little else needed for a memorable wedding!

Meet Amit & Punita

This swashbuckling couple may have been introduced through a common friend, but their attempts to meet each other were anything but ! Punita recounts "We initially communicated through all the existing digital platforms and ultimately decided to meet in Los Angeles (Amit flew down from Australia and I flew down from Philadelphia). We did a little tour around the west coast. Soon after that, we made a few more trips to visit each other in Australia, South Africa and Singapore".

    From the gorgeous Bride. We wanted a fun beach wedding that would be intimately executed and we wanted to celebrate our special occasion with only the people closest to us. Krabi is a breathtaking venue with a very private feel - like you are in an island of your own! Our 3 day wedding started with a welcome dinner, followed by Mehndi by the pool, Sangeet, traditional wedding on the following day and a reception. My mom - Charoo Tanna is my fashion mentor with impeccable taste! She is the Know-it-all epitome of the latest Indian trends! After diligently scouting every bridal shop, bridal exhibition and sifting through a couple million outfits, she not only picked out, but ALSO customised some fantastic outfits for the wedding.
