We love weddings where the bride wears something completely out of the box! The usual reds, oranges and pinks are great, but when a bride goes a little different, it's beyond impressive! And that is exactly what this bride did. She wore outfits that were unique, glamorous and gorgeous! From her shimmering white Mehendi lehenga to her chic cocktail Gaurav Gupta outfit in blue, she outdid herself at every function. What stole our heart completely was her wedding lehenga! She wore a stunning pink and white Manish Malhotra outfit and looked absolutely fabulous. Silky's outfits were complimented by picture-perfect makeup courtesy of Doll You Up by Shradda. Another thing we just fell in love with was her Mehendi! She got her parents and her in-laws' portraits on her hand while the back of her hands featured portraits of her husband and herself! Now that's an extraordinary Mehendi design, and just shows how this wedding was actually full of new and different elements! Also the hip comic-book themed Mumbai cocktail added just the right amount of funk to this amazing wedding! JW Marriott Jaipur was the ideal location for all their festivities!
Meet Silky & Sarvesh
Silky dreamily remembers how she and Sarvesh met and how they decided to get married, "Sarvesh, my now husband, was a relative of a dear friend and we first met at a wedding we attended together. Having seen my pictures in the past, Sarvesh was keenly looking forward to meeting me at the wedding, while I landed up there clueless of his presence. I was astonished to find him looking so unlike his pictures. One thing led to another, we ended up chatting for a good seven hours at that very wedding, I moved from Mumbai to Hong Kong and like they say, the rest is history."

"Whenever I’m asked about my wedding I can’t help but reminisce my bachelorette trip with nine of my favorite girls to Bodrum, Turkey because that truly was the sweetest beginning to my wedding preparations. My husband’s family hails from Jaipur, which is home to the most epic love stories of our nation and was an apparent venue choice. JW Marriott being one of the newest properties in the city, made it the ideal setting to host our guests to a four-day extravaganza. The Indian festivities were followed by a Royal Ball which stood to be a larger than life closure for the celebrations. My memorable first dance took place at the ball which was nothing short of the most magical night of my life."
"The first person I credit all my wedding looks to has to be my make-up artist, Shradha Luthria of Doll You Up by S. Extremely talented, young and personally involved in all the prep, she made sure she was in on every detail with regard to each of the nine looks that she gave me, right from the outfits to the accessories and of course the make-up. Being a perfectionist herself, she comes with the best make up products and will ensure that you look and feel like your absolute best on the most important days of your life. Unlike other beauty professionals who merely storm in and out of the venue, Shradha is passionate about what she does and that surely came across because I felt like I had found a friend and sister in her by the end of it. I highly recommend Shradha to all the brides out there, as she hands down is the best make-up artist you could pick for the biggest day of your life!
Next on the list are my event planners Swaaha who are now like family to me. A husband and wife duo, Marisha and Hemant are nothing short of a well-oiled machine. My most bizarre ideas have been brought to reality by these two people; walking out of a sixteen-foot-high cake made for the perfect entrance to my royal ball and it is just one of the many instances of what they are capable of. Always thinking out of the box and looking out for the tiniest of details, they make sure that every event they plan is unique in its own way and that is what I love about them the most.
Recall Pictures, my photographer and videographer makes on screen mystic. I was stunned while watching my wedding video and in awe of how every single emotion was captured. I fail to understand how it’s always possible for them to record every special and emotional moment that not just me but each of my family members felt at the time, it’s almost like the cameraman was present everywhere at once. I am thankful to the entire team for making sure no stone was left unturned in giving me the best memories that I can now cherish for life.
Pinky and Sheshank, of Eye Candy were the designers who worked day in and day out to bring my larger than life ball gown to actuality. While international designers asked for multiple trials and a three month wait period, Eye Candy took on the task like no other and never failed to impress me, whether it was through the process or with what they delivered.
R One Events and Media were responsible for executing the impeccable décor throughout my festivities. My mehendi artist Jasmine Mehendi, designed magic. My henna spoke about my favorite things in Mumbai, where I then was and my favorite things in Hong Kong, which was where I was headed. Special mention to Ritika Kadam, who did my hair and made me fall in love with every look!"
