A Gorgeous Cross-Culture Wedding With Three Different Ceremonies!

BY Aakanksha | 06 Mar, 2019 | 2238 views | 4 min read

What's better than getting married once? Getting married thrice! This couple is based in USA, but they decided to get married in an intimate ceremony in Indore. Well, they had an Anand Karaj, a Hindu wedding and then a white wedding in Dallas, USA as well. All the ceremonies were beautiful and our bride Harsheen looked gorgeous. What was also striking was how the friends and family did the decor for the Dallas Ceremony and made sure it looked pretty stunning.Jay Chugh Photography★ 5 did a stellar job at capturing their happiest moments so beautifully.

Meet Harsheen & Anand

"My sister introduced us. He is her friend’s junior from medical residency in New Jersey. We met in Albuquerque, where I am pursuing my Residency. He came to meet me. We hit it off then and have been happy since!" writes Harsheen about how she and Anand met.

The Indian Wedding

The White Wedding

From The Bride:

Our wedding was blessed by both our families. We decided to do a cozy wedding in the US. Booked an AirBnb and the plan was to invite a few friends and make it a small affair. But, my sister got involved and planned a beautiful ceremony. I call that my white dress wedding. She decorated everything with the help of our friends and family. She also got ordained and officiated the wedding for us. I’ll be eternally thankful to her! Though this happened, I had always dreamt of getting married a few different ways. I married a Hindu Brahmin boy and I am a Sikh girl, so we decided to respect each culture in it’s own beautiful way and performed both these traditional ceremonies with full enthusiasm in Indore, his home town.

Moments Pro: We worked with Karen. She was amazing. She knew exactly how to get the best shots. She used the lights and the back drop perfectly. She captured all the candid moments we loved. They are a mother daughter duo. The pictures came on time and were brilliant! Shrangarika: I got so lucky with Paridhi. She is a young and talented girl. I am from Delhi so picking an artist in a different city was a task. Anand’s family was super helpful in finding her. She listened to exactly what I wanted, made sure I was comfortable and made some great suggestions for hair and make up. She was fun to be around. If I were to marry again, she would be my artist ;) Aura Apparels, Jayant and Rajeshraj, Shahpur Jat: I was blessed with the most amazing people when I was shopping for my wedding. I have bugged Jayant on late night calls from the US. He made sure my colors calendar out right and that the lehengas were delivered on time. They are an awesome duo. Both of them make sure you love the garment and provide their honest opinions. We ended up shopping for so many clothes from them for my mother and my aunt! Jay Chugh photography: The whole team of photographers was brilliant. They were a part of the wedding. They caught the most natural moments and how! They are all professionals. The pictures came in a timely fashion and Jay listened to all our requests and delivered the best results. Brilliant Covention Center: AMAZING! I am a big city girl so for me Indore was an adventure. It was beyond all our expectations! The hospitality, the decor, THE FOOD! everything was truly brilliant! I have to say, getting fresh warm naan at 2am after all the crazy dancing and drinking was truly heavenly!
