You can't miss this couples initials splattered all across their wedding paraphernalia . From giant letters hanging from streamers, to wooden blocks with "R" and "M"  with flowers, and glow in the dark initials on the sangeet. Planned by F5 Weddings, and shot by Sonder frames, this Mumbai couple has a ton of  neat little ideas executed on their big day- (How about that DJ station along with the baraat- We LOVE!)

Meet Rini and Mohit

Rini says:  “ My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations” this quote from my favourite book "The fault in our stars" by John Green , perfectly describes how  I met Mohit in his cousin's wedding a year ago. As fate would have it, we got married exactly on the same day a year later. At the reception he performed on the song just the way you are as a surprise performance  winning my heart all over again  (Awwww)

The Wedding

A DJ station with the baraat!

From the bride:  Our vision for the wedding was that it had to be opulent yet subtle. We wanted a place which was not very far from Mumbai but still does justice to a destination wedding and so we decided on Radisson Blue Resort and Spa Alibaug.

For our first function which was Mehendi , there were a lot of vibrant colours  with parandis and gota patti work. For our Sangeet, a special 30 ft flower bed was made with beautifully lit lanterns right next to a huge RM backdrop in the lawn where the rings were exchanged. We had an Instagram photo booth and  Tanura dancers from Dubai.

Mohit had a `full power baraat’ with the edgy looking truck decorated with disco balls and a full fledged DJ setup. The amazing combination of the DJ and the band got to another level where the guests did not stop dancing till the mandap.

Mohit's savaari was a colorful vespa and I arrived in a vintage doli as it was always my dream. The paradox of our choice of entry maintained the casual fun atmosphere and also gave a traditional touch to the whole evening.  We had beautiful floats on the water body all around the mandap with candles and a huge cutout of LOVE IS RM floating around with tea lights.
