Ace Bowler Jasprit Bumrah Got Hitched & The Photos Are Absolutely Gorgeous!

Jasprit Bumrah tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganeshan, and their wedding looked dreamy! The wedding happened in Goa and was attended by an extremely limited number of guests. We loved the whole vibe of the wedding, which was super pretty- taking us back in time and reminding us of the beauty of the Virushka wedding! Sanjana's looks were on point as a bride, with her makeup and hair done by the uber talented Bianca Louzado.
Owing to the pandemic, the wedding happened amid limited guests and was a 'no-phone' venue.
The Mehendi
For the Mehendi, Jasprit & Sanjana both chose a hand painted outfit in traditional pichwai art. Each motif was precisely created and was exquisitely hand-painted, inspired by mystical Indian forests. It was complemented by Dongre's signature gota patti hand embroidery and embellished with dori, pearls, zari, zardosi, and sequins. She paired her outfit with Pinkcity by Anita Dongre jewellery and footwear.
The Haldi
For the Haldi, Jasprit Bumrah wore an Antar Agni kurta set while Sanjana chose to wear a yellow jamdani sari from Anavila. The jamdani had floral motifs all over along with a contrast selvedge of silver Zari detailing. Both of them paired their outfits with Aprajita Toor footwear.
The Sangeet
Jasprit wore a deconstructed silhouette in navy with black embroidery and metal detailing from Kunal Rawal. The outfit was detailed with custom-made Kunal Rawal Ashoka buttons paired with bespoke patent black brogues to complete the look. Sanjana Ganesan chose a rich purple lehenga with gotta patti hand embroidery by Anita Dongre for the function. She paired exquisite jadau jewellery from Pinkcity by Anita Dongre and completed her look with handcrafted shoes by Aprajita Toor.
The Wedding
For their wedding, the bride and the groom picked Sabyasachi. We loved the couple's Anand Karaj look, which matched their gorgeous floral decor. The couple's outfits complemented each other, with the bride in a gorgeous floral-printed pastel lehenga, and the groom in a light pink and gold sherwani with a contrasting necklace.
Sanjana has been a regular face of the Star Sports panel and is a Miss India 2014 finalist. She had also participated in the MTV show Splitsvilla 7 before starting her career as a sports anchor and presenter. Bumrah was released from India’s Test squad earlier this month ahead of the fourth and final Test match against England in Ahmedabad. Owing to this, speculations over his wedding had surfaced on social media.
