"We were both on the lookout for a life partner and got talking through a matrimony website. What do I say, when you know, you know! With Mudit working in the U.S and me here in India, we were always glued to our phones, talking on Whatsapp and video calls almost all the time. Eventually, we met and took a couple of short trips together and soon we decided to marry and had our parents meet. The meeting of the parents had both of us extremely nervous but fortunately everything worked out great and we got on to planning our wedding! :)" explains a chirpy Aakanksha.

"We wanted our wedding to be special but not very grand. Our families loved the idea of outdoor decor and the natural ambiance, so we decided to stick to that. Mudit and I, both believe that it's the little things in life that bring you true happiness and we wanted that to reflect in our decor as well. So, we had a lot of flowers, fairy lights, paper lamps, matkis and small little props to amp up the entire decor.
I was personally super happy with the decor, the team delivered exactly what we were looking for. The food by Creative Kitchen was amazing, people still talk about how great everything tasted! Pratishtha Arora, my makeup artist, was my fairy godmother! She helped me out with everything for the entire wedding look- the colors I should go for, the draping, the jewellery; I owe it all to her. And kudos to my photographer, who worked in full tandem to bring out the best! Mohit Jaura and his team are great with candid photography and that's exactly what I was looking for. I told him what I needed for my photos and he delivered accordingly. My wedding jewellery was from Raabta, Karol Bagh. It was an absolute delight to meet Sameep at the store. So open to ideas and he really hears you out when you want something specific. If they don't have what you're looking for , they also offer customization in most cases. I loved every bit of the jewellery that I bought from here," shares Aakanksha.
