We were batchmates during our MBA in IIM Lucknow and got to know each other during an exchange term in Paris. We were both occupied with a lot of other things at the time and only started dating after graduation.

We got married on 15th November 2021. We were going to get married in June but the second wave of COVID hit and we postponed to the first available date in the upcoming saya. We wanted the ceremony amidst natural beauty surrounded by our closest friends and family.

This property was love at first sight for us. The beautiful British architecture in the queen of hills gave us a lovely castle-like feel. We could actually visualize the ceremony - the sangeet in their ballroom, the Jaimala on their historic steps and the pheras overlooking the hills. Their hospitality and service were commendable.
Makeup Artist: Manju Makeovers
I actually discovered them on the WedMeGood app while scouting for makeup artists around Dehradun and Mussoorie. Their style is subtle and natural, just like I wanted. It was lovely skin work. I've always shied away from makeup as I never thought it could look like that on me.
Decor & Planning: Whistling Teel
Gaurav and the team handled everything for us meticulously - from artists to decor to logistics. Their experience in Himalayan weddings really comes in handy to handle all contingencies that may occur. And also, DJ Jerry was the best addition to our Sangeet and Reception nights. He kept the party alive till late hours! They took care of the decor as well. We went with different styles for all four of our events and they created everything as per our vision. It was all stunning and very tasteful.

We had them from both our pre-wedding and wedding shoots and after the pre-wedding, we knew already that we made the right choice! Tushar and the team really pushed us to take the efforts to hike and go to remote locations to get unreal shots. And as the name suggests our shots give a very happy vibe along with being gorgeous!

I got my Haldi saree customized from the floral organza material I purchased from Kosho Fabrics. Loved the fall of it! We had a few hiccups in delivery and sizing from Ultraviolet the final outcome was beautiful. For the pre-wedding rituals, I chose a stunning yet manageable red lehenga. Since I didn't wanna wear red for the main pheras, I opted for this bright bridal colour for the pre-wedding rituals instead. For my pheras, I wore an earthy-toned lehenga which was literally love at first sight for me. It was royal and so intricately designed. Made me feel like royalty. I repurposed the same lehenga for my reception look as well.
