A Chennai Lockdown Wedding With Stunning Decor

Love finds a way, doesn't it? At least that's what we have seen in the last 2 months. As soon as coronavirus shut down the world, a lot of soon to be married couples were let down as they had to put their weddings on hold indefinitely. But, few couples chose to follow all rules and regulations and have an intimate wedding with just a few people! They wanted to start this beautiful new chapter of life together, so they went ahead and did it! Kiruthika & Syed were one such couple. With a restricted guestlist, they went ahead and tied the knot.
The decor at this lockdown wedding was just stunning! Marriage Colours left no stone unturned in having a venue decorated beautifully so that couple could look back at the most special day of their life and have nothing but beautiful memories!
Meet Kiruthika & Syed 
We have known each other since high school. We were good friends who eventually fell and amidst all the odds got married with the blessings of almighty and our beautiful families and friends.

Our wedding planning started just a month before the wedding in last week of March 2020.With very little time we had so much planning but everything came along very beautifully than we have ever imagined considering coming from inter religious backgrounds we always thought it would be a real small wedding. But all the planning went in vain when covid came in.We were quiet heartbroken not being able to have our families fly down to India because of the lockdown postponing all the plans. Later with the pandemic around we decided we ll go ahead and have a small intimate wedding on June 1st which actually turned out to be a very pretty wedding with restricted guest list as per the government regulations.Our venue and decor made our big day really special even during lockdown.

It is a very traditional wedding venue in ECR. A very well maintained beautiful property you can have any intimate or fun gatherings. We sure knew we'll be coming back to this place again and again the moment we stepped in during our venue hunt in the lockdown. A very understanding and accommodating management to make sure we had a hassle free experience.
Makeup Artist: Prakruthi Ananth (Prakatwork Team)
So much energy this team had and did a fab job. Always wanted to have my make up done by her ever since I've known her.The moment I told her I'm having the wedding in the lockdown and she has to travel to ECR she immediately said great let’s get you married. She did exactly what I wanted from her famous subtle make up. The bridal hair was done by the sweetest Seetha Aunty (Prakruthi s mom) and I loved her and her work.

We had two teams help us to have our event captured during the lockdown. Shotstories by Varun Suresh, A very accommodative and engaging team, comfortable to work with. They did the most fabulous job in lockdown making sure we had a dreamy wedding set up even though it was a really small gathering to what we had planned with them before the lockdown. They immediately had a vision in mind for us when we showed them the venue.Their vision for decor sounded dreamy and what’s best was it was as dreamy as it can be in real too.Our family & friends were so stoked at how pretty a lockdown wedding could also be. They made sure we had our big day in the most brightest memory even in the lockdown. Pradeep and Team did an amazing job.

My mother in law was very particular with Tulsi Silks her favourite and now the families favourite. They have the best collection in the city and extremely helpful staff.

A very sweet women who immediately agreed to come and do my mehandi during the lockdown and also very last min .

An excellent bespoke designer and one of the best in town to have your big event costumes custom made.He makes sure to give you every attention to detail and also delivered it on time during the lockdown.
