Parsi weddings always were a mystery to us - but we are happy we do a get a few cool Parsi brides who share their journeys and their pretty weddings with us so we can be updated! This time, it's Anahita who took us into her beautiful ceremonies with the pretty Parsi white sari, fun bridal hairstyle and the sweet Reception cake. We also are a big fan of her flower-embellished bun that matched perfectly with her white sari. The wedding at the Farmhouse in Chattarpur was a great way to showcase it's elegance while photography by Photobuddies and Vinod Thakur Photography kept it simple and sweet!
Meet Anahita & Arush
"We were made to sit next to each other in 6th grade, and I remember not liking him at ALL. I thought I'd never be friends with him but in the ninth grade, we ended up in the same class again and he called me up to ask me a few doubts in our holiday homework, and that's how we started texting (smsing) and then he asked me out, I said no the first time, the second time around he tricked me and said "I'm going for a movie with three hot ladies, will you say yes to me?" and I got jealous and said "yes!" Eventually, after a few days, I got to know those three ladies were his aunt, his sister, and his mother! But, I guess the jealousy worked well for both of us. Its been love at so many stages of life and eventually lead to marriage. It's been an amazing journey with him and I am looking forward to the next chapter with him" says Anahita.

Chahtarpur farmhouse was an ideal setting for what I wanted. A colorful day Mehendi and Sangeet and a dreamy dewy ceremony and Reception - it was perfect! Eventfully Yours Decor made it look amazing - the Mehendi was colorful and the Reception was just elegant, the way I wanted it to be. Shallu, my makeup artist was amazing. I really liked her work as I have worked with her before. She knew I wanted a supernatural and very less makeup on my face and she did it perfectly. The catering was most important for me as I am a chef, after many tastings and recreating the menu with Ujjwal, they did a great job at both the events. Everyone loved the food.
A review for my friends and family without whom this entire event wouldn't have been possible especially the immediate family. Mum, dad and my brother and Arush's parents, sister and family who went all out to make it perfect, And a BIG THANK YOU to the WedMeGood App which I started using since I got engaged. It kept me on track with everything (while being at work and super busy) until the day of the wedding. Lifesaver for a crazy "To-Do list-making Bossy Bride-to-be, and by the end of it - I wasn't a bridezilla but a bridechilla.
