Harishika and Shashank dated in Dublin but chose to get married by the Ganges in Rishikesh, and an intimate yet stunning wedding it was! From the vibrant haldi to a serene river-side wedding, this destination wedding was just about celebrating their love. Meet Harshika & Shashank
It was July 2018, I was actively searching to rent an apartment in Dublin. My then roommate saw an advertisement online and registered us in for the viewing. We got a call to visit and view the place. She couldn’t make it so asked me to visit. I went for the viewing knowing very less how it would change my life forever. I met an absolute stranger there, we both started ranting about rental struggles in Dublin and ended up not getting the apartment. Few months later I got the sweetest message on Facebook from Shashank asking me if I remember him from the day of viewing. Eventually we started talking and with started dating in 2019. Well!! what do they say, if it’s meant to be it will happen. Love came to me when I least expected it.

I always wanted a small dreamy wedding. My parents found the perfect venue for me in Rishikesh (Namami Ganges, Rishikesh) we all agreed on only close circle. I wanted bright colours in the decor, a mandap in open. River Ganges added the charm and purity in the whole event. My vision was to make the 2 days of celebration full of love, life and only happiness.

He is the guy if you want your big day to be hassle free and dreamy! While planning for my wedding I came across Amaraay weddings and had a long conversation with Vikrant about how and what we can do. I don’t live in india so it was difficult for me to visit the wedding venue in rishikesh but Vikrant went twice there for me even before he started working with me. He certainly has a passion for what he does and that started showing from day 1. He was so accommodating for all my needs until the wedding day. Both the days of my wedding went so smooth and beautiful because of the decor he did. I noticed how everything was always ready before time and with perfection. It was all just like I dreamt and sometimes even more than that. Especially the vidhi mandap was to die for. All the guests loved his work and I can’t thank Vikrant and his team enough for all hard work they did to make my wedding a big success.

We hired them for 2 days for our wedding in Rishikesh. The whole team( Maitri, Bharat, Madhur, Sagar and backend team) were so cooperative and always on their toes to cover all the events to create lifelong memories for us. They helped us a lot and made us so comfortable while shooting. The wedding trailer came out of the world. Every time I’m watching it, it for sure puts a smile on my face and happy tears in my eyes. The pictures were just splendid.

I never got professional makeup done in my life so was very skeptical. I was searching for a good MUA and came across Neetu’s profile on wedmegood. Really liked her work so we had a quick conversation and booked her dates. It was my best decision as she came in and knew exactly what I wanted. She did wonder with my wedding makeup. I looked flawless. I got so many compliments, all thanks to her. I was so happy and content that I chose her for my big day.
