BY Sakshi | 15 Feb, 2021 | 810 views | 4 min read

The pandemic has changed everything, weddings included. Who would've thought that we would have to live through times when meeting and greeting our near and dear ones would become a challenge. Destination weddings hardly happened in 2020, but with the vaccine bringing some hope in 2021, destination and staycation weddings have restarted, with couples choosing to go ahead with truncated guest lists and really spending on the guest experience to combine their wedding with a much-needed vacation for everyone. If a destination wedding is on your mind, then here are some places to consider planning your 2021 wedding in, given the pandemic is still very much a reality. Here's the latest on these destinations, as of Jan 2021.

If a royal wedding is what you've always wanted, then Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer are again back in action as perfect venues for destination and staycation weddings! With enough options for all-inclusive hotels and resorts so the guests can stay and attend the wedding and enjoy at the same place, without really having to step out of the property if they do not wish to. Plus, with delicious Rajasthani cuisine and an extra warm welcome, Rajasthan is perfect for the destination weddings right now!

They are not only places with a pretty backdrop of the valley to say your 'I Do's' in, but also serene and perfect to chill in for you and your guests to have a much-needed break. Plus, most of these are drivable places from Delhi and other North-Indian cities.

The place is open, the resorts are welcoming everyone, and of course, the beaches are gorgeous as they are! You might have to consider booking an entire hotel or resort to yourself for your wedding, but it can still be a great place especially after they have waived off the mandatory quarantine period right now.

The resorts in Maldives are secluded and all inclusive as it is, making  sure you and your guests enjoy the wedding in your little bubble!
