From The Bride:
We tied the knot on 16th June and our wedding was Magical meets Indian Traditional. It was a blend of the Maharashtrian and Rajput wedding. Our family and friends who attended the wedding and are back to their respective countries without a lockdown, describe it as “Even in a lockdown nothing beats an Indian wedding fun”! My style is minimalistic with a dash of glamour and our wedding reflected it perfectly.

Venue: Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie
Tucked away in the hills of Mussoorie, the massive property of Jaypee emerges as one of the best locations for weddings. It is a heavenly location in the mountains and the perfect weather on the wedding day made it look even more magical. We were literally in the clouds during the pheras and were lucky to have that misty, “Mussoorie” feel on the wedding day. If I must say we were on cloud 9. The special appearances from the mountain animals gave the much-needed escape from the wedding shenanigans from time to time. The food was super delicious and I couldn’t believe I hogged as much during all the events wearing those heavy outfits. The eastern and western court lawns and the ballroom at Jaypee proved to be fabulous backdrops for all the different events.

“Bianca”- the lady with the magic makeup wand!! She made all my wedding looks dreams come true. She was such strong support to me throughout the wedding, mentoring me about every little thing, which helped me a lot during the wedding events. She has been a major part of my wedding process as she was with us when we were going back and forth with the wedding plans due to the COVID situation. She helped me stay calm and positive and make all the right choices. She has a strong positive personality and makes sure you are enjoying the makeup process. She is a gem of a person and I will treasure the Bianca Louzado experience for life.

I have no words to describe this amazing couple duo and founding partners: Apoorva Doddamani and Brian D’souza. Not only are they the “creative freaks” but they become a part of the family, the wedding and live it, breath it, dance it, and sing it till the D day. Due to the current COVID situation, it was a stressful wedding prep with the dates changing and the challenges with the vendors and suppliers; but I am so glad I had Apoorva and Brian by my side. They were able to understand me and the situation most deeply and sincerely. I still remember how much effort these guys put in to help me understand that it’s in vain to fuss over everchanging conditions/dates/vendors and at the end of the day, “you” have to be happy on the wedding day and the one thing that truly matters is - Marrying the love of your life!. Their attention to detail and their commitment to brainstorm, ideate, and work till you are completely satisfied and the way they take a personal interest in seeing you fulfill your dreams makes them the best people to work with. They truly love what they do, they are passionate and they go out of their way for you. I cannot thank them enough.

Working with them has been a fun experience, the team was simply amazing. They were always up and ready for all the madness and captured all the moments creatively. Kudos to Sujay Das and the team for the awesome experience and all the patience they had while handling the amazing couple (lol). They made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. They are a genuinely nice team and great to work with!

They created beautiful backdrops and décor for mehndi and haldi. Vibrant colors and very lively! We had a very specific idea for the wedding mandap and we were genuinely thrilled when we saw it come to life.
Wedding Trousseau: Bayleaf
A special shout out to Bhagyashree Kamat and Avanti Patil for designing my trousseau. They designed my dresses and saree blouses in such a way that I have all the combinations and styles covered in my wardrobe. They are super creative and put a ton of effort into every outfit. They also designed blouses for my mother and sister-in-law and helped me with the fittings of my other outfits during the lockdown period. They are very sweet and always welcome you with their radiant smiles and positive energy.
