The Wedding
From The Bride:"I always wanted a big fat Punjabi wedding and as we had family and friends coming from all over the world. Both families were involved in literally planning every detail of the wedding functions. The Mehendi was my most favourite function, I always wanted it to be a day function with an English pastel theme. The decor turned out to be beautiful and my Nidhi Tholia outfit with the flower jewellery went well with the whole theme. I gave yellow and mauve saris to all my bridesmaids with personalised notes. The whole function was picture perfect.For the cocktail night, I wore an emerald green chantilly lace and satin gown with a satin sash and tasseled accents by Gopa Kumar. As for the wedding, I wanted to wear something bright with intricate work and not super heavy! As soon as I entered Swati Ubroi's boutique in Jaipur I saw this beautiful bridal lehenga on the mannequin and knew at once that this was the one. Only, I wanted a change of colour. I loved how she plays with colours, the multicoloured thread work she does and not to forget those colourful pom poms she added to the blouse and skirt!," explains Nidhima."All the vendors did a superb job- Ravneet Puri, for capturing one of the most important moments of my life which I can keep reliving through her pictures, Dhruv co for the beautiful floral vintage style wedding invite, DJ Ankush for making sure we don't leave the dance floor even for a minute!
