Enchanting Goa Wedding With Awe-Inspiring Décor And Bridal Outfits

Goa has always been a rather popular venue for destination weddings. But its popularity as a perfect shaadi location has grown ten folds in the past couple of years. The pandemic has made us all rethink the way we celebrate the monumental days of our lives. And many new-age couples are opting for intimate nuptial ceremonies in pretty places so that they can make a weekend holiday out of their celebrations while also ensuring everyone's safety. Of course, Goa is one of the first names to cross everyone's minds, when it comes to that.
After several postponements and venue changes, this couple also zeroed down on Goa to be the spot where they take the vows. But oh boy, this doesn't look like any other Goa wedding. It didn't have a floral mandap on the beach but a sea-through one amidst the backdrop of lush greens instead. What a refreshing change! Designed and decorated exceptionally beautifully by Castle Rock Events , this spectacular event looked nothing less than a gala straight out of every bride's Pinterest dreams. The lovebirds looked adorable together and there were many 'aww' moments across their different functions. Not to mention, the bride made for a sight for sore eyes in each of her swoon-worthy ensembles. Major props to Doll You Up by Shradha Luthra, for keeping the makeup natural and yet making her glow.
Meet Ruhi and Manmath
Things always seem to fall into place at the right time in life. That is something I firmly believe in. Manmath and I met at university in Singapore 8 years ago. We've lived in Bangalore our entire lives, but as I mentioned, everything happens at the right time and place. He became my best friend, companion, and advisor, and we were always up for an adventure. Perhaps that is what brought us closer together. And now, after 8 years, I still can’t imagine what life would be without him.
Mehendi
For my Mehendi, I wore a beautiful ocean embroidered Rahul Mishra ensemble. I fell in love with this piece when I saw it. It connected the dots to our love for diving and the ocean and it fit in perfect with the shades of our white theme. Manmath wore a custom Kunal Rawal.
Sangeet
I had to go all glam for my Sangeet and I couldn’t imagine anyone but Falguni Shane. The minute I entered their store, I knew I had to get my sangeet lehenga from them. I wanted do a silver and surprisingly, my lehenga felt so light when I danced and stuff. Absolutely loved it! Manmath loves Kunal Rawal cause his designs are so contemporary yet with a hint of tradition that gives this perfect look to a groom. He wore KR again for the Sangeet and was super happy in it.
Haldi
I wore an Anita Dongre number on my Haldi. She’s just a breath of fresh air always! I felt so comfortable and happy in the outfit. Manmath wore an Anita Dongre kurta to match mine.
Wedding
I chose an Anamika Khanna lehenga for my wedding! I’ve loved AK for the longest time for her graceful and dainty outfits. They’re always so beautiful and I felt like I was glowing in it. It was of course, in my favorite color - pink. Manmath opted for a gorgeous classic Anamika Khanna sherwani. It was minimal and regal - just as he wanted it look to be.
From The Bride:
Our wedding was on 4th of March 2022. After postponing it multiple times, with many venue changes later… we finally decided to have an intimate wedding with fewer guests, close friends and family in Goa! I wanted to have elements of what we love reflect in each event.
