It's not every day you come across a wedding where you witness a bride wearing extremely beautiful outfits for each and every wedding function! And when Shruthika shared her bridal looks with us, we were left baffled because we just couldn't choose one favourite. From a dramatic dupatta trail to a 3D engagement blouse, she also infused unique elements into the attire that totally changed her style quotient. *chef's kiss*

Make-up by Afsha Rangila did her magic and dolled up Shruthika on fleek. Totally worth a save! Browse through to witness the beauty of this celebration & bookmark for inspiration.

Wedding

From The Bride

Our wedding date was late midnight of 26th i.e 27th of May 2021. It was my birthday on May 26 too. So, it was an added auspicious occasion for us. Our wedding happened at the peak of the pandemic where there was a proper curfew and lockdown due to the high rise of COVID cases. We were so unsure of the whole wedding dates, invitees, venue, events, vendors, our clothes, basically every little thing. Our wedding was a 3-day celebration at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. We had an intimate affair with only very few close friends and family. We got engaged a night before our mangalasnanam, followed by pellikoduku and kotnam and at midnight, I had the best and amazing birthday surprise celebrations. The wedding day was full of jitters and extravagance. We were so so happy to know that all the people who came for the wedding had tested negative post the celebrations. Also, we got every guest tested just before coming for the wedding. All in all, it was a dream wedding. We actually had a completely different plan for our wedding. Our wedding was supposed to be a destination wedding with around 300 guests. All our bookings - flights, hotel, the decor were done and paid an advance for but due to the pandemic we had to cancel in the last 15 -20 days. Our wedding is the most unforgettable moment ever due to so many changes and new norms, government regulations, pandemic as a whole. But I’m so glad that we got through this and had the best and the most unforgettable wedding.

Vendor Reviews

Afsha Rangila was my makeup artist and she is more than anything that I could ask for. She did a fabulous job for me. She was the most patient, understanding, and super professional makeup artist ever. She had given me the most different looks that one could plan for. She had taken up all the challenges that can happen to do my wedding and all the wedding-related functions make up. She just made me fall in love with myself all over again.

Janaki and Ketki from Eat, Drink, and Party did the whole wedding planning and decor. They were literally my blessing. Due to the whole COVID pandemic, no event planners were ready to do any weddings but they had saved my back and made me live my dream by actually putting their best efforts into doing everything possible to make the venue look all the more graceful and beautiful.

Vijayeesam and the team were my photographers. Gayathri and her team had covered the whole wedding! They were really patient and the most amazing candid photographers and videographers that I could ever ask for. I’ve got all my most unforgettable memories in the best possible pictures and videos because of them.
