Exotic Middle-East Wedding With a Disney Princess Bride!

BY Latha Sunadh | 25 May, 2016 | 6645 views | 3 min read

Remember Jasmine - the Disney princess from Aladdin? Well, Roshini reminded us of her with her glam wedding hairdo's, fairytale outfits and more.  She is the stylish blogger from That Girl Posh and her  interesting middle-eastern inspired themes and outfits were an absolute delight. Especially that mehendi outfit- so fairy tale like! All of this awesomeness was captured beautifully by Picture Perfect India.

Meet Raj & Roshini

"Raj and I met at his house party in December 2009 during our second year in university. He was very curious to learn first time about Sindhi's based in Hong Kong and was even more amused with my relatively drunk cousin and together they were chanting songs in Sindhi. The night ended hysterically with my cousin and him breaking his bathroom door. I know I left an impression on him and this definitely wasn’t going to be our last meeting. The following months we bumped into each other a couple of times at different occasions, we always had some chemistry and loved a little banter with good chat, but nothing really happened till he moved into the same halls of residence as me in September 2010. The past 5 years have been an incredible journey. I think we are so lucky to have gotten the chance to experience life together and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

From The Bride:
"Our goal was simple; we wanted to create a magical and memorable experience for both our family and friends, by blending the best of our backgrounds and taking our guests through a journey of our love and what we love the most. In total we had close to 450 guests staying in-house with most of the guests from my side and some mutual friends visiting the Middle-East for the first time. Hence we wanted to ensure that our wedding reflected and delivered as much of the local cultural experience as possible.
"I had a clear vision from the start of what I wanted the Bridal Squad to look like. I had sent them Bridal invitations 6 months prior to the wedding to ask them if they would be my Bridesmaids and to collect their measurements so I could get their outfits made. Shivani Awasty executed their dresses beautifully and exactly how I imagined them to be. I wanted their outfits to carry an element of western fusion and have a similar floral print pattern that was designed on the Bridesmaids Invitations and the Mehendi Insert of the Wedding Invitation" adds Roshini.
