Friend of the Bride is a series we always loved because it gives us a peek into the fashion workings of these beautiful girls that the bride calls her best buds. And hello, they really have the advantage of upping the fashion quotient because they have no colour hang-ups or bridal to-dos to adhere to. This month, after much ado, we found a friend who not just created her own niche in terms of silhouettes and cuts but kept her personal style oh-so-glam in less. And don't we love budget wedding ideas - we do, we do! Here's a look at what she wore!

  1. The chilled BFF look at the Pool Party in a short floral dress

2. Mehendi Cape and dhoti pants by Tanvi & Gauri at Rs 12,000

3. Shaadi Lehenga by Tanvi & Gauri at Rs 20,000

From The Friend Of The Bride:

"I don't think I can nail my style down to one thing. It's mostly a mix, minimalistic, yet edgy, classic with hints of modernity. One thing that really does intrigue me is the delicateness and richness of fabrics. I also like to experiment with colours. " says Gauri.
Knowing Nivriti and Siddharth (wedding coming up soon on WMG), I knew it was going to be one of the most fun wedding ever. And I wanted my outfits to be just that too, fun! Also, given the location I wanted to keep my look contemporary with a mix of traditional. That was the idea I had before creating my mehendi outfit. I wore a contemporary cape with a traditional dhoti salwar. For the wedding I kept the look completely traditional, a Benarasi lehenga with a thread work blouse. Also every ceremony had a theme, so I also tried to incorporate that while styling," adds Gauri.Fotowalle - The Story Folks★ 4.9
