Who knew there could be so many things you could add to the bridal dupatta to make it even prettier? Yup, simple ways to make your bridal lehenga or saree unique is to add some elements which will be unique to you, and since the dupatta is going to probably be there in all your wedding photos, we thought we'd tell you all the cool and pretty things you can do with it! Especially if you're trying to customise your lehenga!

We spotted this idea implemented by Real Bride Kunali who had a floral border inside her dupatta- and it really made everything look prettier! The inside of the bridal dupatta does matter a lot when you take it on your head, so a floral lining inside will make the outfit look very delicate and trendy!

Yup, a lot of brides do not pay a lot of attention to the colour of the border INSIDE the dupatta- you know when you turn it around? Well, that’s what’s gonna add the contrast to your photos when your face is gonna get photographed, so it is super important! See how it makes the bride's face pop?

How unique does this beaded fringe look at the end of the dupatta? It'll look precious when you twirl!

Attach it to your blouse

Attaching your dupatta to your blouse not only makes for a unique silhouette but also ensures your hands are free !

Lace or zardosi border

Sometimes a delicate lace border on the lehenga can look better than a heavy embroidered or sequinned one!

Unique tassels

Tassels or latkans can also make the dupatta really pop- you can choose to stick to the same old round ones, use colourful pompoms or even get something interesting put!

Benarasi border

Sometimes rather than a heavy one, all your lehenga needs is a pretty Benarasi border- that's exactly what Real Bride Vihal did when she designed her own bridal lehenga!

Beads on the border

If you're going for an all-out traditional look, then beads on the border can add a lot to the dupatta- just make sure you like them framing your face 'cz they can be pretty distracting!

A train

Who said trains were only for white weddings? If dramatic your thing, then it can be pulled off with an Indian look too- just get a longer dupatta and get it draped leaving a train behind!

Yup, who knew you could do so much with a dupatta right?
