Glamorous Mumbai Wedding With Oodles of Color

As the rains are taking over Mumbai, it's only apt that we kick off the week with a Mumbai affair. Miloni's quirky Mehendi and traditional wedding are beautifully done, right from the invites to the pretty Anamika Khanna lehenga. We loved the anklet style mehendi on her feet, the beautiful bridal portrait shots by Stories by Joseph Radhik and just the amount of color we saw in this affair!
Meet Miloni & Karan
Karan and I met through mutual friends at a wedding about 8 years ago. We’ve been together for 7 years now but we’ve done long distance throughout our relationship. When we began dating, I was in Belgium entering my last year of school and Karan was in Singapore completing his service in the military. We both moved to the US to further our education - I was in New York and he was studying in Boston. Karan proposed to me in 2014 at the Four Season Hotel in Mumbai. I had been working in Mumbai at the time and was completely unaware of him being around. He decorated the rooftop lounge, AER, with roses and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the perfect proposal!

Our wedding was in Mumbai the following December so we had over a year to plan everything. Karan and I really wanted to have a wedding celebration where our family and friends from around the world could attend. We had guests flying in from Belgium, Singapore, Boston, New York and of course all around India. We had four days of events to celebrate our wedding - Mehendi, a Youngster's Cocktail Event, Sangeet and the Wedding.
