Gorgeous Destination Wedding In Italy With A Dash Of Whimsy!

BY Latha Sunadh | 09 Jul, 2018 | 1358 views | 3 min read

We got the dreamiest of weddings yet in our kitty - an Indian wedding at an Italian destination. Sandeep and Karishma's multi-cultural soiree is a sight for sore eyes, with a white wedding and an Indian one thrown in for good measure. What's even more enticing is the minimalist decor and the candidness that came through in each picture. The venues, Villa Medicea di Lilliano and Villa Toricella, Bagno Ripoli were picturesque and straight out of an Italian movie while Photography by Going Bananas Photography★ 5  took it up a notch and made it look as natural and dreamy as possible!

Meet Karishma & Sandeep

"We met at work, where we sat next to each other for quite a few years. Despite our heated debates, we actually got to know each other’s worlds quite well. Eventually we stopped sitting together, and started working on different projects, however our paths continued to cross and we found ourselves rather inseparable," says Karishma.

From The Bride:

We were looking for something intimate, romantic and something as natural as possible. We fell in love with the natural landscape that backed onto the venue, this with their decor simply spoke for itself. All we needed was to be surrounded by the people we love to be ready to celebrate and dance the night away. Our vendors were an amazing bunch. Evolution Print & Design Ltd were incredibly professional and covered everything from invitations, seating plan and the menu to the Hindu ceremony guide. Everything was delivered on time, including any last minute changes – this can happen with your table plan! They paid attention to every aspect, from the design, layout, format, materials – the quality and results were truly amazing and better than we could have imagined. We couldn’t have done it without them…credits to Poonam, Vipul and Girish Naker.

Arinder Bhullar, the designer for my outfit was passionate about her job. When I explained that I didn’t want the traditional bridal red outfit, she worked with me to step through some other pieces which we then pulled together details from and added some of my own personal requests. The outfit was delivered on time, fit perfectly and received compliments from all our guests. Arinder has amazing couture and is an integral part of the process once you step into her store.

Going Bananas Photography's Prasheila and Abhimanyu are now the family photographers. They covered Sandeep’s sister’s wedding in Jaipur and having already met them there, there was a real sense of familiarity.  Despite the existing relationship, the GBP team delivered above and beyond everything that had been discussed and most importantly, joined in the fun! The entire time I was getting ready, Prasheila was there with me and my family. Those are the first photos I’ve printed and they have pride of place in frames.
