An extremely intimate wedding with the rustic backdrop of Alila Fort, Sanjana & Yash's celebrations were absolutely breathtaking. Add to that the fact that Sanjana wore a stunning bridal lehenga, which she had designed herself, and we couldn't help but be awed! Flawless planning by Shaadi Squad , absolutely bookmark worthy decor by Atisuto and portraits that went straight on our Pinterest boards by House On The Clouds made this charming wedding hit all the checkboxes!
Meet Sanjana & Yash
Yash and I have always known of each other but we only properly met at friend's party where we spoke a little and played a game of "passing the current", hehee. We didn't really keep in touch after and he'd gone back to New York for work. A year later, I bumped into him at a local restaurant and something felt different this time. This boy happily slid into my DMs right after and things hit off since. I remember on our first coffee date we literally spoke for 5 hours till the place shut down and they had to politely ask us to leave hahahaha.
From The Bride:
Wedding date : 16 of March 2021.
When we first went on our recce to the 230 year old warrior fort we knew this would be it! We were in love with rustic vibe of the place. The wedding was an extremely close knit and intimate affair with all the necessary covid precautions kept in mind. Our decor and events were simple with the right amount of subdued grandeur with a souk night Mehndi/Sangeeth, "In the meadows" vibe for the wedding ceremony and a fun alfresco dinner by the pool. My favorite moment from the wedding when I was walking down the aisle to the most beautiful Nepalese song by Sajjan Raj Vaidya, a song that Yash had made me listen to when we were initially dating. This moment was all the feels for me, walking towards my best friend who looked like he was going to cry too (hehe) but grinning so wide at the same time!
