Every wedding is unique and special in its own way. But this one's all the more so because of very many reasons. Even though it wasn't as grand as the couple had originally planned it to be, it turned out to be exactly as dreamy and beautiful as they had imagined. Surrounded by their loved ones, their intimate celebrations included a minimalistic Mehendi celebration followed by their registry marriage and a cocktail party. It was all heart! We knew of each other’s existence through a mutual friend and we got talking during the pandemic. We just instantly clicked. It was all so effortless like we knew each since forever. No small talk, no awkwardness, just love and banter. When we first started meeting and taking things forward, it wasn’t at a club or a restaurant over a few drinks, it was simply just drives or burgers and hot chocolate takeaways. What makes it more real was that it was so raw and organic, no façade, no trying hard. We were just being ourselves and turns out we were looking for each other all this while. We may not agree on the same logics in life but We share exactly the same values and beliefs and that’s what makes our relationship stronger.

What's my wedding story? Nothing fancy, just love! I was engaged to be married in March 2022 and amidst the preparations in December, my mother was diagnosed with blood cancer. It was months of chaos, fear and anxiety and our wedding was left hanging up in the air while we were unable to make any decisions with my mom being under intensive therapy. We did not know what the future held for us. We decided to wait it out and have faith in the universe. I have been utterly blessed to have the support of my now husband and his family, who stood by us through it all, being positive and manifesting the best. On 3rd June in 2022, we did it! We could not do it on a scale as large as we originally planned, but there's not a thing I would change about how it all went. It was more than perfect and it was everything I ever dreamed of. My mom is doing better and could actively participate in the wedding. She went from being on bed to shaking a leg on the dance floor. God is great and it's a wonderful world. P.S. There is nothing more beautiful than a marriage packed with warmth, love, intimacy, well wishers, pure happiness and the ones who matter the most. It's the people that make your day, not the scale.
