Here Is How Grooms Are Wearing Mehendi At Their Wedding

BY Apoorva | 26 Apr, 2017 | 4215 views | 2 min read

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor started the trend of wearing mehendi in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s Channa Mereya, it’s caught on quite quick. Not that every groom is sporting full hand mehendi but they are experimenting and trying new and fun groom mehendi designs! Remember, we told you first that it's still on trend but tweak it according to what you think works!

Inspired Mehendi

Even if Mehendi is a bride’s function, every groom has his own likings. Fan of Star Wars? Have a symbol drawn in your mehendi. Harry Potter Fan? Have a cool pair of glasses and a scar or even the deathly hallows done in your mehendi! Manly but cool eh?

Tribal Art

Most of the guys don’t like floral or as they call it ‘girly’ motifs. Tribal motifs work perfectly for them. It is a combination of bold, geometric and spiral designs. Absolutely clutter-free and simple to look at, and will even compliment his wedding outfit!

Match The Bride

If you are up for it, you can also go in for a full-hand mehendi and match the brides design in your mehendi. It’s fun, infact in some north-indian weddings its mandatory. We love this groom getting it captured in such a sporting way!

Hashtag Away

Not up for the entire Design to be etched on your palms? You can get your wedding hashtag done as your mehendi design. Not only is it fun but we promise that your bride will love it!
