Here's A Throwback To Deepika Padukone's Inspirational Bridal Looks

BY Sakshi | 28 Nov, 2018 | 46459 views | 5 min read

One celebrity wedding and so many looks! Yep, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had quite a lot of functions, and we've put together a breakdown of all her looks together in one post for you to browse through and take inspiration from! Starting from the latest function, which is her *second* Mumbai reception to her first pre wedding function, we've got it all right here!

Her Bollywood Reception Look: Red Hot in Zuhair Murad Official

Another look that was more 'editorial', but Deepika Padukone being who she is, absolutely slayed with this one too! She wore a custom-made Zuhair Murad gown which had a huge train, and was glam and gorgeous! Her makeup was again the same- smokey eyes with nude lips, but for a change, she actually let her gorgeous hair down, which was a first for her at any of her wedding functions! Her Mumbai Reception Look: Regal in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

This was a look which looked quite inspired by Pakistani brides, and for once when Deepika did not wear or was styled by Sabyasachi! This time it was Abu Jani who was her designer of choice, and ivory and gold seemed to be the theme! A pretty chikankari saree with gold and a long dupatta with a train on the head- we especially liked her heavy pearl earrings, but the necklace seemed to be blending in with the outfit. Her makeup this time was more 'nude' than the previous looks, with glossy eyes, lips and heavy highlighting!  Deepika's outfit by @abujanisandeepkhosla; Jewellery by @sabooatajsk; First 2 photos by @errikosandreouphoto (assisted by @anjalichauhan16); Makeup by @sandhyashekar; Hair by @georgiougabriel

Post Wedding Bash: 'Freida Kahlo on acid' in Sabyasachi

This was the party hosted by Ranveer Singh's sister. This was perhaps Deepika Padukone's most experimental look of all! Deepika wore this Sabyasachi showstopper lehenga from his  (which to be honest we've seen before a lot) with an unconventional new-bride look. She tried to keep it edgy with heavy smokey eyes and a floral headband, and braid, which honestly, looked more editorial than something we'd see on a real bride. But then, full marks to her for trying out something new! Photo Courtesy: @errikosandreouphoto; Hair by: @georgiougabriel; Makeup by: @sandhyashekar; Lehenga and Styling by: @sabyasachiofficial

Her Bangalore Reception Look: Traditional with a twist

This was the Reception at Deepika’s hometown, and right after the couple got back from Italy. Dressed in a stunning golden saree gifted to her by her mother from the House of Angadi, Deepika looked graceful and elegant with a stunning emerald choker layered with a pearl haar. But we couldn't help but notice how her look was so similar to Anushka Sharma's reception look, with the centre parted tight bun with a saree, who was also styled by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her Anand Karaj Look: The quintessential Northern bride in Sabyasachi

As far as her Sindhi wedding in Italy was concerned, Deepika looked like the quintessential North Indian bride in a red and gold Sabyasachi creation, which was paired with some stunning polki jewellery by the designer which according to us, was the highlight of her look! Another thing that stood out was her bridal dupatta on the head- which had a quote inscribed on the side with gold thread! But all in all, a nice traditional bridal look! Her Konkani Wedding Look: The perfect South Indian bride!

Her Konkani bridal look was also of a traditional bride- she looked elegant in a dull gold and red Kanjivaram which was as traditional as it gets! Her jewellery was on point too- with a temple jewellery touch, and the mathapatti and layered necklaces adding a nice touch. Her makeup however, was similar for both the weddings- the whole smokey eyes/heavy kohl look which she pulls off well every time! Her hair was in a traditional bun with flowers around it.  Photography: @errikosandreouphoto; Hair by @georgiougabriel; Makeup by @sandhyashekar Jewellery by @sabyasachiofficial Saree from @angadigalleria; Styled by: @sabyasachiofficial

Her Mehendi Look: Pretty in pink in Sabyasachi

At the Mehendi ceremony, Deepika was seen in a blush pink thread work kurta which she teamed up with a dupatta of the same detailing and a red shawl to add a royal finesse. Personally, this was one of her best looks, and we especially loved the trendy subdued shade of pink and those amazing earrings and satlada! Such a nice and classy Mehendi look for a bride! Pre-wedding Pooja Look: Bright and simple in Sabyasachi

The wedding festivities had kickstarted with a pre-wedding pooja at her residence, for which Deepika looked ethereal in an elegant orange suit by her favourite designer. She kept it simple in a bun and pretty oversized earrings.  Styled by: @shaleenanathani; Photo Courtesy: @shaleenanathani; Makeup by: @sandhyashekar; Hair by: @georgiougabriel; Outfit and Jewellery by @sabyasachiofficial   So, what do you think?
