So you know how our new booking model for photographers in Delhi lets you instantly price your dream photographer to know how much he would charge? While we have been  toying with the results, we realized that there are so many ways you can get your dream photographer within your budget. That is if you play your cards right and look at ways to prioritise. We give you tips and hacks that you can use to get that big vendor in your kitty without upsetting the apple cart.

1. You don't need cinematic video on all the days

Cinematic video is the kind of video coverage where they make a wedding film on the two of you. Interviews, snippets, the works. It is also rather expensive. So a smart thing to do - pick two key events for cinematic video coverage and keep the rest to pictures. Trust us, you won't be missing out on much.   cinematic video

See how cinematic video forms a bulk of the cost and its chosen for all 3 functions?

2. For small gathering sizes, skip the traditional photography

When you have a gathering of under a 100 people lets say a Mehendi , you don't need to hire a candid and traditional team both.  The candid photographer typically covers close friends and family, which is pretty much what you need in the case of smaller events. Traditional photography is mostly for stage shots or larger gatherings . While traditional photography is essential for wedding day, you won't lose much skipping it for minor events.

3. Hire one photographer for both sides and split the cost

Instead of two photographers who actually click the same pictures at different angles, it's best to hire one good one and divide the costs. Win-win! See that question on the right which asks you this ?

4. Book off-season

This one's perhaps the best way to go about these things. Booking off-season and being the first one in line can get you brownie points. And if your wedding is in a month that's not in-season, you've just the jackpot.

5. Book on WedMeGood to enjoy best prices

Well, this is self-explanatory because didja remember the time we raved and raved about our super cool new feature where you can know your budget and book a wedding photographer in Delhi in a jiffy? Well, now you can book straight away online by paying a nominal booking amount and we guarantee you the best rates ! Want to know more about how to book? See this

6. Book Photo and Video with the same provider

Sometimes booking the same photo and video guys can make sure rates come down. Plus, they throw in a few extras so you can benefit. Plus, less stress, less hassles!

7. You may not need more than 5  photographers (unless it's a massive wedding)

All you need when it comes to the number of photographers is one covering each side and 2 floating. That's it. Rather than waste time and money on too many extra photographers, it's best to keep it simple and functional.
