There are two kinds of people in this world. The first tune in to shows like 'Jhalak..' to go "Oooohh" at  the performances and the dancing- this is probably 20% of the population. The other kind tune in just to see what Madhuri Dixit  is wearing today and go "Oooooh" at her - which probably forms the rest 80% ;)  . While sticking to pretty , conventional sarees in lovely pops of color- she definitely has a wardrobe a bride would love to borrow from. Coral and Turquoise together in a saree- whats not to like? This ombre coral and beige Arpita Mehta with the trademark mirror work blouse would be gorgeous on any one, any age and perfect for a morning wedding event . This floaty Shehla Khan is not a saree, but a mint green sharara. Love how Tanya Ghavri styled this, keeping that ethereal vintage vibe intact! Friend of the bride- This is perfect for her sangeet / mehendi. Even a perfect option for a mom who wants to be fashion foward. Just pair the sharara with a longer top. This Tarun Tahiliani on Madhuri made me go all *tongue dropping to floor cartoon style* Its beyond gorgeous- the delicate work, the net sleeves and that wispy dupatta-you could float in this in your own engagement party.   This pink and red ombre saree  by SVA with the teal border and gota patti work motifs was more traditional than the rest of her outfits, but still totally gorgeous. This is a great saree for an elder sister or mom of the bride ! You rarely go wrong with Sabyasachi and this georgette black sabyasachi saree with pearl and resham work embroidered pleats is classic, and timeless.   We suspect this saree looks better in person than it photographs but the soft peach with the turquoise is lovely and the soft drapy-ness of the fabric really comes through in the lehenga-saree pleats. This is by Peppermint Diva who is on our bridal gallery Her most recent sighting was in this stunning lehenga by Jade. That plain pink skirt with metallic edging coupled with a white dupatta and metallic embroidered blouse is perfection. This is great to wear on your own mehendi, or a friends sangeet , or your  sisters wedding!
