And these days we're seeing so many amazing couples who are looking to try newer places, collate some unique ideas and own relatively unknown experiences. And if you add a luxury element to your honeymoon, then that's really about hitting all the high notes. And we finally found India's most popular blogger couple, Sherry Shroff and Vaibhav Talwar who did just that. What did you think was the most striking feature of Queensland?
Both: The variety that Queensland offers as a destination was astounding. One could go to a beautiful beach in Gold Coast, experience an ancient forest – Daintree Rainforest through Mossman Gorge, jump out of a plane from 14,000 feet at Cairns, witness the luxury of Port Douglas and interact with kangaroos and wallabies in the wild, at Spicer's Hidden Vale.
Tell us about your favorite memory from the trip?
V: For me jumping out of a plane and jumping into the GBR, both dives were my favorite!
S: Mine was definitely landing on the Sandy Cay. You can't beat having your own private island, albeit for 20 minutes!
Are you usually experimental with food? Did you get experimental with food on this trip?
We are complete foodies and we are very adventurous with food whenever we travel. The local food had us stuffing our mouths at each meal. One meal that was delicious and thrilling was the Teppanyaki at Misono.
How adventurous are you usually?
Call us Adventure Junkies!! That's what we are.
Was the dive you did, your first time?
V: Yes, for me it was my first dive and what a dive it was!
S: I have dived before, but diving at the GBR was definitely the best dive.
What are your comments and thoughts about the dive at the Great Barrier Reef?
We were super excited to see Nemo in flesh! The Great Barrier Reef is stunning below as it is from above so definitely do both the experiences when you visit. The coral and fish encounters in the reef are unparalleled we wish we could stay on the reef, which guess what, is actually possible!
Were you able to cross things off your bucket list on this honeymoon?
Definitely yes!

Did this trip allow you to see new sides to each other? Did you “bond over experiences”?
Travelling together is the best way to learn things about each other. And when the destination is as beautiful as Queensland, the bonding is extra special!

Honeymoon planning advice for couples? Any tips on how to choose a destination for one’s honeymoon?
Pick a destination that offers a mix of luxury, adventure and great food and where people are warm and welcoming. Try to mix things up a bit when it comes to incorporating different activities to do. There should be enough time to relax and enough time to take the place and each other!!

Travel light. Ditch the cash and get a currency card. Have multiple copies of your Passport.
