#Virushka took everyone by surprise, and #DeepVeer kept us all waiting! Yep, the new big Bollywood wedding has kept us on tenterhooks so far, and now, the photos are finally out! Two of the biggest Bollywood stars currently have tied the knot, and let us tell you, the photos were worth the wait! So here's giving you a look at the first official photos of them as a couple, which have been released on the official accounts of the couple! And yes, as expected, they were head-to-toe in Sabyasachi!
One thing that really stood out for us was the shloka written on her dupatta border- that's something new!
So Ranveer and Deepika had two weddings- a Konkani one on Nov 14th and a Sindhi one on Nov 15th, both at the stunning Villa del Balbianello overlooking Lake Como in Northern Italy. The wedding is an intimate one, with not more than 50 guests in attendance, and the couple has been very private about everything, choosing to release information on their terms. In fact, phones were barred from the wedding with the security being very very exclusive and secretive! The secretive affair saw incredible security precautions being taken, with very few images being leaked from the venue.
Day 1: The Konkani Wedding
For the Konkani wedding, ivory and gold seemed to be the theme of the day as not just the couple, but even the guests were seen wearing the same combination. The couple wore Sabyasachi, and so did the immediate family members. Ranveer wore a long cream coloured kurta and Deepika wore a gold Kanjivaram.
The decor was gorgeous- the main patio was filled with hundreds of white roses with full fairytale vibes!
Day 2: The Anand Karaj
They took their vows on day 2 at an Anand Karaj, which was held at the Villa Del Balbianello in Italy. As far as the Sindhi wedding is concerned, Sabyasachi was the designer of choice on this day too for the couple! Both Deepika and Ranveer were matching, dressed in red.
The groom is said to have made his 'dhamakedaar' entry in true filmy style on songs like 'Meri Pant Bhi Sexy', Chunari, Chunari and 'One Two Ka Four'! That's definitely something you can expect from Ranveer Singh!
Deepika and Ranveer’s male family members are said to have been in red pagris while the women wore lehengas and sarees in shades of pink or red. As far as the decor is concerned, the lower terrace of Villa del Balbianello and the mandap of today’s venue are decorated with red roses for the wedding.
All the best to the couple and here's hoping for more photos!
