While this wedding may be larger than life, its the tiny details that totally bowled us over. For starters- those gorgeous flowers in her bridal hairstyle, the mint and pink lehenga, and the adorable, rustic feel of the opening sundowner. The bride Subiyaused to work in film Production and has since worked on renowned films like Queen, Udta Punjab, Shaandaar, Raabta and more. Sagar Dewan on the other hand, is the owner of Enorm Realty. So you'd really expect her wedding to be as filmy as possible no?
The venue, Sofitel Bali, Nusa Dua made sure the innumerable events and the decor played out beautifully while Photography & Videography by The Photo Diary by Monisha★ 5 delighted us with some amazingly shot pictures. "Imagine being surrounded by azure waters, sprawling beaches and the company of close friends and family on the most important day of your life. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Well, Krayonz Entertainment Pvt. Ltd brought this dream to life for a young couple in the lush locales of Bali. Spanning across 4 days, the wedding was full of fun and frolic. The guests were specially flown into Nusa Dua and were welcomed in true Bollywood style with a party titled ‘Baliwood Dreams’ on Day 1. Guests came styled as their favourite stars at the venue which resembled a massive Bollywood movie set. A fun awards ceremony was held where trophies were given out to the Best Dressed, Best Couple etc while thematic party favours were given out. Day 2 had a Diamond themed sundowner at Nikki Beach. Guests were enthralled by LED drummers, stilt walkers, break dancers, atmospheric girls and an astounding fire show. Paris House Addict – a team of a DJ, Violinist and Saxophonist from Paris kept the guests glued to the dance floor until the wee hours. The 3rd day brought out the Punjabi side of the family with Mehendi functions titled Funjabi All the Way. A flamboyant colourful set up adorned the event while guests were kept busy with the tarot card reader, Jenga, masseurs, magician while pop stars Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar kept on their heels, all day ! The night was given a regal avatar with a mughal themed event titled ‘Mughal-e-awesome’. Raging superstar brothers Armaan and Amaal Malik had the ladies swooning and dancing to their tunes! On Day 4, the finale ceremony saw the bride and groom arrive in a vintage car before stepping off to sit in the doli. A flautist set the perfect mood for the ceremony and the couple finally tied the knot against a spectacular backdrop of fireworks. The reception held post wedding was hailed as the Royal Affair with guests coming dressed at their sartorial best, keeping in sync with the theme.The guests enjoyed the experience completely and especially appreciated the thoughtfulness behind the arrangements. Like the white and gold invite that came accompanied by Dholwaalas and a hostess or even the local SIM arrangements that were made on arrival in Bali. Also noted were the photo booth set ups at each event and the special salon designed for guests to have their hair and make up done before the events. Not just that, there was even a customised radio programme in the car for the guests en route to the hotel, a box of dancing flip-flops on the dance floor to ease the ladies from wearing those painful heels. We ensured every element of the wedding echoed their gratitude, be it the coconut water shells engraved with the couple’s logo or different night favours that ranged from Forest Essentials to treasure chests and exotic green tea ranges" explains Achint Nag of Krayonz Entertainment, the label that planned the entire shindig.
