Meet Geetika and Mohnish
Geetika recounts"We met through our parents - me on a dare to prove that i'm not afraid of getting married and will go meet the next "rishta" that comes and he to pacify his parents demands of seeing a girl before he went back to Canada. We clicked - we connected but my parents got cold feet about wedding me off to Canada and said no. But he wasn't taking no for an answer. He moved back to India - set himself up and up his business - he runs his own successful company now - FutureINJECT - and he sent my folks an official " rishta " again asking my hand in marriage and TA-DA! That's how it happened" Whoaaa that's a love story if we ever heard one.

From the bride: It all kickstarted
with a Youngsters night, followed by the bridal shower and then the main events like the engagement, mehendi and wedding! We tried to do something unique for every event like - Monish and I released a wedding poster some 10 days before the wedding.
For my bridal shower the theme was pink, black and white which was carried through in the invites, decor, cake and my bridal shower outfit. I had cute coasters on the bridal shower on which each of the guests wrote a sweet message for me. We also made a scrapbook at the bridal shower where all the guests took pictures with the bride and wrote notes of advice,love and nostalgic memories.
For the youngsters, we had a green booth set up in one room with funny videos playing on the television which the guests had to mimick while cameras recorded their funny dance moves. We had the DJ play the Ipl sound every few minutes and cameras going off whenever the sound played to capture everyone's reactions to the moment. We also did the Jewish chair thing where our guests lifted up the bride and groom sitting on chairs over their heads and circles us around while we held onto each other with a scarf.
Vipurva was a delight to work with , and I felt he was completely on the same wavelength as us. Later during the course of the wedding we found out that we went to the same school and he grew up right down the street from where I lived. Vipurva has a very professional work ethic right from his communications on email to the way he works - there's complete clarity and he makes sure you're both on the same page.
He became such a huge part of all our moments and celebrations - he managed to capture such great candid moments and raw emotions. Every picture brings back a 1000 memories whenever we look back at them. I'd recommend him to every couple who really want to capture the essence of their wedding in photographs.
Kapil Bhalla made me look and feel so pretty for the functions. I felt like a princess and got tonnes of compliments thanks to him. He was very understanding and considerate of how I wanted to look and inspite of having so much experience and credit in the field. He was completely down to earth and so cooperative.
A shoutout also to Team Jade - I went to them 7 times before I finally selected, customized and ordered the outfit. They were all super friendly and patient. Great bridal advice and sincere cooperation.

B:BLUNT, KHAR - From the Creative Head to the most junior stylist - a whole devoted team of stylists was bustling around me primping and prepping me for my first event. They were all sweet and pampered me to perfection making me feel super special before it all even started. They do the best hair in Khar - hands down, hat's off.
