About The Wedding
Our wedding took place on November 23, 2024. Indian hospitality is truly unmatched—it’s always the warmest and most heartfelt. For our pheras, I envisioned a lush, botanical setting, and our mandap brought that dream to life, adorned with abundant greenery and vibrant flowers. Every detail reflected my vision, including my exquisite Gazal Gupta lehenga, intricately designed with lotuses, parrots, and nature-inspired motifs. It was a moment straight out of a dream. For the pheras, my brother walked me down the aisle!
For our sangeet-style reception, I envisioned a bold and elegant setting infused with rich red hues. Anthuriums adorned the tables as centrepieces, while a sleek white stage bloomed with vibrant red flowers. It was a celebration of love, laughter, and beautiful memories. We also had a McDonalds station with Happy Meals for everyone!

For my pheras, I wanted a look that was deeply traditional yet carried a hint of modern elegance. I fell in love with this Gazal Gupta lehenga—it was nothing short of ethereal. The intricate embroidery told a story of heritage and artistry, with delicate floral motifs, architectural elements, and fine threadwork that felt almost like a painting on fabric. The soft pastel tones, accented with hand-embroidered lotuses, trailing vines, and ornate arches, created a dreamlike effect.
Isa by Dolly Wahal & Ritika Mirchandani (Reception)
I couldn’t choose just one outfit for the reception—I fell in love with two, so I decided to do a mid-party outfit change! I started the night in a stunning gold fishtail lehenga by Isa By Dolly, complete with a dramatic trail. The fit was perfection, and the way it shimmered under the lights was simply unreal—I truly felt like a princess!
For the dances and a night full of celebration, I switched into a statement Ritika Mirchandani lehenga in her signature bold red with structured shoulder pads. I adored this piece; it was striking, full of character, and gave me major Spanish vibes! The structured shoulders were especially perfect since Karan and I were dancing salsa—it was the perfect balance of style and comfort, lighter than my first lehenga, making it easier to move and let loose on the dance floor.
For the after-party, I embraced a fun, playful look with an embellished denim skirt from Show Me Your Mumu(purchased on Revolve) and a custom-matching jacket featuring ‘My Boo’ on the back—a sweet nod to what Karan and I call each other.
