You know fashion week is gonna start on a good note when an unconventional label like Raw mango takes centre-stage and opens the show this season. And so it came into style - trademark Benarasi saris, exquisite rich colours and colour-blocking and loads of boxy structure perfect for the avant garde fashionista. Though we saw refrains of his older collection in the new Raw Mango fare, it didn't really deter us from loving Benarasi silk all over again. In fact, if it's a unique look you are looking to create for your wedding, then this label is just right.       There is a lot for the sister of the bride - nice kurtis colour-blocked with cigarette pants, fitted jackets worn loosely over billowing tunics and nice crispy saris when worn with a beautiful crop top would immensely increase the appeal of a sari. And for the bride, we saw exquisitely created lehengas with dupattas that seem to add more to the look - very old school, very royal. But simplicity of design and devotion to craftsmanship and above all dedication to the fabric were seen. Of course, the wearer will most definitely be unique and captivating to the onlookers - what else does a bride need?          Choose a few interestingly done kurtis and jackets for a cool winter mehendi - the colours so bright will keep you warm and stylish. Mostly, what we really loved about Sanjay Garg's second venture is the way in which jewel-tones like pink, purple and emerald-green played with newer silhouettes - something wearable, some simple!
