Warm & Endearing, Pastel Hued Wedding in Delhi

BY The WMG Bride | 27 Apr, 2016 | 5847 views | 2 min read

Spelling elegance from the get go, Tanya & Aeckarth's wedding had so many details that an understated bride would love. The grecian metal Juda hair accessory, the soft floral decor at the wedding and the stunning jhoomer against the brides peach lehenga . We also love the warm, loving family photographs and the transition from a quirky, fun mehendi to an elegant wedding day , all the gorgeousness was captured in all its delicacy by Bhumi and Simran Photography★ 5 . (Mehendi captured by Shweta Poddar Weddings★ 4.9 )

From The Bride: "We always wanted our wedding to be personal and something our family and friends could relate to. Having known each other for 7 years, we both were very sure we wanted our wedding to be a fun and memorable day not only for us, but also for everyone around us. Getting 'The Copycats' (Prabhtoj Singh) to play live and cover classics from our parent's era (Dancing Queen, Staying Alive) to the new generation blues and rock was meant to stir up the crowd, and it did just that! From dancing in the baraat to singing on the dance floor, our wedding was a free-spirited night of celebrating love and friendship. The style of the wedding was classic, with mellow colour themes and was centered around our families. We had our parents and grandparents wedding pictures decorated at our jaimala stage. The Mehendi was a splurge of colour and amazing food (nitrogen ice-cream) and cocktails. There was something for everyone, from a caricature artist, parrot-fortune reading, blind school artists (foot massage), to live singing. Kudos to my family and especially my mother for planning every event with such detail! Like they say, every wedding is beautiful, but ours is my favourite."
