Pre-wedding shoot with foodie details and a vintage theme

BY The WMG Bride | 21 Dec, 2014 | 7231 views | 2 min read

Vintage chic is the hottest thing to happen to Indian weddings since..well. ever. Okay, maybe since live crepe stations.  While the previous session featured here was styled like the twenties, this one has a distinctly British vintage flavour to it. Speaking of flavour- heart shaped cookies, lemon frosted cupcakes and a bottle of wine all feature in this cute little shoot that has got our hunger pangs going on  a cold Sunday morning :) Also read: Unique props to make your pre-wedding shoot pop 12-pre-wedding-shoot-india-011 14-pre-wedding-shoot-india-01313-pre-wedding-shoot-india-01218-pre-wedding-shoot-india-017 15-pre-wedding-shoot-india-01416-pre-wedding-shoot-india-01502-pre-wedding-shoot-india-00103-pre-wedding-shoot-india-002 1-pre-wedding-shoot-india-004 2-pre-wedding-shoot-india-00501-pre-wedding-shoot-india 09-pre-wedding-shoot-india-00807-pre-wedding-shoot-india-006 From the bride to be:  We had vintage theme in mind which we intertwined with food. We did the shoot at a couple of different locations ranging from a farmland which gave us splendid rustic pictures to Café Rose which had the perfect romantic setting for a date. I incorporated small personal details in the shoot. For example we used a cage which we bought together for our future home; I wore the shoes he gave me. I even wore a dirndl (traditional German dress) which my fiancé got for me from Germany while we were in a long distance relationship. It went perfectly with the theme. There were little DIY’s as well: my fiancé put his childhood talent to good use and made some amazing air planes which gave us some stunning pictures. Despite having a number of props, I wanted the focus of the shoot to be on us and not on the location or the props and our photographers made sure we got what we wanted.  I had a lot of ideas in mind and my photographers not only understood the concept but even executed it perfectly. I wanted some one who had an eye for detail and Hitched and Clicked fitted the bill perfectly. Venue: Cafe Rose and open farmland, Photographer: Hitched and Clicked. Dress: Brides  own bought from Germany
