Pretty Evening Wedding in Delhi With a Dash Of Glam!

BY Latha Sunadh | 18 Jan, 2017 | 3967 views | 3 min read

Mid-week and we needed a healthy dose of fun - one good reason why this super cute wedding of Ankita and Akhil has caught our eye. Our favourite thing about this wedding was the sparkly hair accessory on the Mehendi, and how this bride on a budget ensured each of her outfits looked different - from the mint-hued Mehendi anarkali to the high neck gown at her Sangeet, and the traditional wedding lehenga . Divishth Kakkar Photography captured all the fun moments beautifully!

"We were together in school, but rarely talked then. It was only after school that we used to meet as a group, when he proposed me. I took a little long to realise my feelings for him but when that happened, it was a complete 'Zoobi Doobi' moment for us!" explains Ankita.

From The Bride:

"My wedding was not just my vision: it was my Mom's, dad's and my husband's vision combined; probably that's why it turned out to be a dreamy affair for me. My dad wanted it to be grand; my mom wanted it to be different, and I and my husband wanted a combination of both.

As far as my style and outfits are concerned, I had read so many blogs that there was an information overload. I therefore leveraged this information with my simple style and I'm happy that the results were amazing. I'm glad that I got married at a time when such blogs are a blessing for people with extremely hectic schedules (like me!)

I got the most important vendor through WedMeGood, who created some beautiful memories for us to cherish: Our photographers - The Delhi Velvet Team/ Divishth Kakkar Photography were amazing" explains Ankita.
