Imagine having a destination wedding in a place that feels like home- now wouldn't that just be goals! Priyanka and Gaurav had their destination wedding in Goa, but decked up the property such that it felt like it was happening in their family's ancestral house! Their union was beautiful with a very home-style, zen feel to it, which is something that is so hard to encapsulate at a venue that isn't a home. The mandap was under a tree, and the aisle was made of banana leaves! Not just that, we absolutely adored Priyanka's simple yet effective bridal look in her gorgeous pastel banarasi lehenga and her pretty jewellery- a minimal bridal look that's definitely Pin-worthy!

Venue: Alila Diwa, Goa
The venue had a beautiful courtyard that I wanted the wedding ceremony in - it felt like getting married in the angan of an old home. The shaded corners, the infinite greenery of the rice paddy fields made us feel like we were right in the lap of nature - it was very still and zen - just what we wanted.
Wedding Planning and Decor: VLW Weddings
It was important for me to work with a local planner and vendors because they know the lay of the land the best. In Goa, our planners were VLW - they managed the logistics, hospitality and decor for us, all of which came together so beautifully in the end and aligned with my vision.

I think its important to find people who will capture you as is, without the added stress, drama and fluff - which they did exactly. It also helped that they did not stand out as 'photographers' but mingled with our friends and family, which lead to the creation of some beautiful images.
