Quirky Delhi Wedding With A Bride Who Wore Sneakers For Her Pheras

Some people end up planning their wedding for years. But Saachi and Aniket managed to pull off the whopping task of organizing their nuptial ceremonies in a matter of just three months! Their love for each other helped them sail through the madness of all the shaadi shenanigans and they ended up hosting a beautiful fun-filled one-day affair for their loved ones in the heart of Delhi. With amazing décor in lavender and other hues, a live band with a saxophone player - it was an occasion to remember. Our today's real bride has a penchant for all things quirky. So, she opted for sneaker boots with her wedding lehenga and an uber cute umbrella instead of a regular phoolon ki chaadar for her entry. Let's take a look at these cuties celebrating their big day.
Meet Saachi & Aniket
We met 8 years ago at work. We are both perfectionists and highly organized. Our relationship has grown over time into longing to always be together as life partners. Our #ANIKaSACHApyaar symbolises our true love for each other as both us are MFEO (made for each other). We are each other's best friends and soulmates. The two of us organized our wedding in a span of 3 months wherein we researched, shortlisted, made crazy amount of excel sheets, squabbled and finally narrowed down a dream team to be part of our wedding day. We celebrated craziness, companionship and most importantly, a commitment to stay together being best friends and best partners for life.

From The Bride:
It was a one-day affair which started in the morning with our Haldi basking in the bright yellow glow of marigolds in the lush green lawns, followed by our wedding which carried the theme symbolizing our love for pastels focusing on a lavender dream with a dash of pink. Our love for quirkiness was spread all over our big day starting with my sneaker boots that stole the show, to my beautiful flower umbrella instead of phoolon ki chaadar, to using boutonnières instead of garlands for milni, followed by the signages that asked the guests to “pick a seat and not a side as they’re loved by both the groom and the bride”. Our pheras were timely and 60 mins by the clock followed by our wedding dinner and party where we both along with friends and family could just let loose and dance the rest of the night away. It was an eventful day and all the ceremonies culminated beautifully to bind us together forever.

From playing ‘My Heart will Go on’ for the bridal entry to soulful classics during our pheras, Abhay and his band added the Midas touch to our special evening.
Bridal Mehendi: Manu Kapoor Mehendi Artist
Manu and her team were very patient and professional. They were on time and incorporated the quirky mehendi designs I requested to perfection. They used very good quality products that had no odour and left a deep enriched colour, definitely got a lot of compliments for my mehendi and I am truly grateful to Manu and her team for that.
