The grand wedding of Zubin Mehta (son of Nitin Mehta owner of MECORDS India Ltd) was a 3-day grand affair with functions held at Umaid Bhawan, Mehrangarh Fort and Jade Gardens that saw the creme de la creme of Mumbai as well their esteemed guests from across the globe. And with amazing bands and interesting backdrops, this wedding was an affair to remember. Meet Zubin & Aashna
A formally arranged meeting turned into several close meet-ups across Mumbai and Delhi as Zubin and Aashna realized they were meant for each other. Zubin, being more of a planner by nature between the both of them, formally proposed to Aashna, in none other than one of the most picturesque and uber romantic destinations of the world - Maldives. The groom planned a pre-wedding shoot in the Maldives at the Taj Exotica, wherein the gorgeous bride Aashna was proposed to on this isolated cabana amidst the ocean with champagne, flowers and The Ring!

The wedding had so many ideas executed to perfection. From chartered Jet flights personalized to the wedding theme to amazing stays at the best properties all over Jodhpur such as The Umaid Bhawan Palace, Ajit Bhawan, Hari Mahal by Taj, Raas Hotels and Radisson Green & Mariott. Even small details like carting everyone from location to location via vintage cars was organized. There were lots of ideas for events with unique themes like the Masquerade ball, poolside

party, a larger than life Symphony of Souls Sangeet and one of the most beautiful weddings with the palace backdrop were planned.
The Baraat was nothing less than that suited for a Maharaja, with vintage cars, horse chariots, elephants, and camels in tow. Each function had a distinct theme and décor. The food also had a theme specially curated by chefs from across all Taj Hotels in India.
Talents such as Paris House Addict, Julia Bliss, Djembe drummers, the musical rockstar Guru Randhawa, Dj Aman Nagpal & his band Suryaveer Hooja, Silver Strings band and DJ AJ all lit up various functions with their outstanding performances.
