Tejini Kariappa is the founder of Halli Berri, a premium coffee label from Karnataka and is a Bangalorean who had the most amazing bohemian wedding in Thailand last year - her outfits and her jewellery was talked about all over on Instagram and to us, the best bit were her outfits !!!! Our wedding planners, Mirage weddings (Vicky and Praveen) were truly incredible. They just executed all our ideas down to the T with pure perfection. And because of that, we were a calm couple. A big thank you to their incredible team for creating a wedding filled with not just flowers and people but one with love, good energy and all heart for us!
Pimpom, our florist and decor artist was a true genie in a bottle! He just understood our sensibilities and what we wanted from one detailed meeting with him and references that were shared. Being a destination wedding, we were nervous but man o man did this guy create magic or what! Nadine Dhody needs the recognition she duly deserves. Her service was impeccable and I truly had the 'bridal experience'. For someone who works 8 days a week these guys were so easy and understanding! My photographers, Ankita and Akash and their entire team of WeddingNama were truly such a pleasure to work. So patient, kind, courteous and most of all ' Not in your face'. As the bride and the groom, you want to feel the moments and have them captured naturally on film. These guys were simply sensational. They were always there but you couldn't see them!
A special mention to Varsha and Jaskreet from Sabyasachi, Calcutta, who made me my bridal outfit to perfection. The team worked hard to deliver it on time as I had a few hiccups which they ironed out and I had my gorgeous ensemble fit me like a dream and I truly think I had my # princess moment. The designer duo, Dev R Nil are truly humble! Nil took our ideas and made me my crystal and sequin embellished gown #fairytalemoment for my first dance and I felt like Elsa from Frozen! The science to the bustier and Cinderella gown he made me was truly exceptional as it was so well harnessed, so comfortable that I danced the night away!!!
As for the silver foot jewelry at my wedding, these beautiful heritage pieces of jewels have been in our family for over 5 generations and have been passed on from my great great granny to my gran and then to my mom.
