Sureshot Ways To Destress Your Wedding Morning!

The wedding morning can be as crazy or relaxed as you want or rather let it be- we are firm believers in that! You can choose to leave everything to the end or be sorted enough to make sure you have a relatively free morning with nothing more to concentrate on than being a chilled out bride- and here is how to do it!

So here are our two cents on the topic!

Keep it simple and sorted

Try not to cram too much into your wedding morning. Try and finish everything beforehand- lay things out the previous night. Keep your morning as sorted and empty as possible- you'll need your energy to last through the day!

Let go - seriously!

Do not try and check things off the last day or frantically call vendors or sort out issues- hand all this to someone else who can step up and be responsible and keep the hassle off your hands and mind. 

Call the MUA to where you are rather than travelling

This can also save you a lot of hassle, especially during the peak traffic hours! Let your hairstylist and MUA come to you instead of you going to them, at least you won't be the one getting stuck and can be in your own comfortable setting, or even the venue!

Plan everything at least an hour ahead

Whatever time you have to be ready, at the venue, have your bridal shoot- plan for everything keeping at least an hour extra in hand. This will make sure you do not get delayed and have enough time in hand for any last minute mishaps. 

Do not skip breakfast

Even if you're not hungry, this is something that you just shouldn't skip. You might not just get weak, but develop bloating and acidity later in the day also. Eat light, and avoid foods that promote bloating to keep the tummy fit. 

Visualise and meditate!

Visualise how you want your day to be. Imagine happy faces, and picture your day just like how you want it to be! Just take a few deep breaths and calm your senses with a little meditation if possible. 

Opt for some music therapy!

Listen to some happy peppy numbers after waking up- it will help calm you down and put you in a good mood too. Here are some of our suggestions to kickstart your wedding day morning with happiness!

Aromatherapy works well too!

Light a candle, or put a diffuser with your fave fragrance. If nothing, just spray a little bit of your favourite perfume in the room- it will help relax your senses!

Do some basic stretching or yoga

You're gonna be sitting and standing for a long time later in the day, so just do some basic stretching or a few easy yoga asanas to get those muscles ready for the hard work during the day and night. 

Depuff and massage your face

Use spoons kept in the freezer to depuff the eyes or a jade roller on the face- will instantly relax you and make you feel fresh and calm!
