A beautiful wedding by the lake front? Well, this season doesn't ask for anything better than that. So we have Neha and Kapil's picturesque wedding in Kerala backwaters to spice our day up. From the sweet boat entry of the bride to the neat  boat race between the bride and the groom - this was fun and super fun all along. Photography by Celluloid Weddings is so beautiful and captured this union in the best way possible!

"Both Kapil and I are born and brought up in Dubai. He is originally a Sindhi from Ahmedabad and I am a Maharashtrian from Mumbai. We know of each other for more than 15 years I believe, as we both are from Dubai and went to the same school. However we were not so close then. We met again around 6 years back.. and it just clicked! Sooner than we knew, we were in love and now living our happily ever after. We got married on 27th February 2015 and it has been an adventurous and fun journey and definitely looking forward to making many more memories," says Neha.

From The Bride:
"Every wedding has a divine and surreal vibe attached to it and it is beautiful to experience this vibe with your loved ones. Well, my friends and family tagged me as "The Chilled Out Bridey" and I think I was pretty sorted and well-planned. We had only six months to plan our wedding and I think we did well considering it was a destination wedding. And before the first function started, both Kapil and I had decided to simply let go and enjoy each moment.
My bridal style is a tricky one. I am more of an instinctive person so if I love something, its generally love at first sight. Because I think it is important to love what you are wearing and feel good about yourself in it, rather than just follow trends" adds Neha.
"A few of our Wedding Highlights include Caricature Artists, Pottery, Kite Flying and the most fun was the Boat Race amongst the Groom's and Bride's side at our Mehendi. We had a beautiful lagoon in the middle of the resort; so at the end of the Mehendi function, we made teams with bandanas and jackets for team Groom and team Bride - it was a lot of fun!! At the Pheras, it was my boat entry and Kapil's elephant entry that was very beautiful. Kapil gave a beautiful speech at the Reception which was followed by wishing lanterns that were given to all guests and they made the skies so much more beautiful. We are so glad to have found our Event Planner/Decorator, Makeup Artist and a few boutiques from WedMeGood. I remember spending hours on the website, as we had a destination wedding and most things were done online," adds Neha.
