Alright then, how different could a Mandap be? Four pillars, flowers and a pandit ji inside right? Well, all the amazing real wedding stories we featured in 2014 had some pretty unique spins on their mandaps. Infact if you head on over to our Decor Gallery, you are going to be flooded with images of fun, quirky, elegant and downright classy decor ! And since the wedding rituals really take place in that four pillared structure called the Mandap, we thought we would touch upon this a little bit! Theatre style Mandap Seating.  From the wedding: Neemrana wedding which gave back to society. Photography: Ravneet Puri. Design & Decor: Bride herself. Not only was the historic setting incredibly beautiful, but the bride elevated it a notch higher with cushions in various hues of pink. The mix match of prints, the complementary colors and the minimal decor set off the surroundings beautifully and as the sun went down we can imagine just how stunning this wedding would have been. Mandap made out of grass. From the wedding: Destination wedding in Arizona . Photography: Xenia Rollinson, Decor: Kathy BAggett from Wedding Warehouse This might not be everyones cup of tea, but when you get married in Arizona which is primarily a desert, the grass mandap provides visual relief with the pop of green ! Plus its super unique From the wedding: Stunning beach side wedding in Goa. Photography by Monica Moghe. Decor by Golden Aisle Decor White mandaps are rare, but how stunning do they look!. Adore the chairs, the draping and the soft pink flowers with the interspersing of purple and green is like fairytale perfection   Cabana Style Mandap. From the wedding: Delhi wedding with a foreign connection. Photo by Dot Dusk. Decor by Gautam Vedi These cabana style seatings would make brilliant mandaps and the lamps hanging from the top are amazing ! Love the white, orange and red color combination Mandap Inside the Pool. From the wedding: Anandna and Samarth. Photo by Going Bananas, Decor by Silhouette  Silhouette created this structure inside a pool! The close family sat on the seating around the mandap with an almost floating feel and in the middle of the night, under the stars having a mandap in the middle of a pool is stunning   Yellow and Pink Mandap. From the wedding: Pia and Rahul. Photo by Shweta Poddar. Decor by Abhinav Bhagat Absolutely LOVED this simple, elegant mandap with yellow genda flowers as curtains, hot pink cushions and mint green bolsters. The bronze colored chairs added to the charm. Great color combination.
