This Bride Rocked An Offbeat Muted Look At Her Mehndi!

So when it comes to the mehndi, we have seen brides rock some killer outfits- but what has been common to most of them has been the fact that the mehndi is one function when brides bring out all the colour- whether it's bright, whether it's unique... colour has always been an integral part of the mehndi function, after all, it's a function which has a bright and festive feel to it! But here is a bride who chose the path less taken on her mehndi- not only did she pick a pastel outfit, but a subdued one at that! Meet Shivaangi, a bride who managed to woo us with her unique mehndi look!
Shivaangi rocked a sort of sage green Anushree Reddy saree at her mehndi in Phuket- ditching the quintessentials and standing out looking gorgeous in muted tones with ruffle detailing! Isn't it just gorgeous while keeping it dainty and simple? Her makeup look was on point too, with soft smokey eyes, nude lips and gorgeous effortless wavy hair.
Her groom matched her perfectly too, picking the same understated hue with an interesting silhouette- and we must say, we didn't think a look like this could work for the mehndi, but it really does!

"My mehendi sundowner was an outdoor affair, and I did not want to do the regular look of a lehenga with bright colors. Anushree is a friend and I have always loved this ruffled saree of hers. I'm more into delicate soft colors and this is one of my favourite colours. So I chose it and the made my husband buy an Ujwal Dubey in a similar tone. Parveena made me look the best with the subtle make she did, which made the look stand out."
