This Couple Replanned Everything At Home When Second Wave Hit Just 5 Days Before Their Destination Wedding

Weddings have been surrounded with so much uncertainty off late as it is, but what do you do when the second wave of COVID hits just 5 days before you have your grand destination wedding planned in Jaipur? Real Bride Sreoshi, who happens to be a Bollywood choreographer was all set to marry her love Mohit in a grand ceremony, but after the second wave hit, replanned and rearranged everything at their home in just 3 days! Isn't that amazing? It was a 5 day affair with multiple functions but only 40 guests! But kudos to the implementation! The decor and the photos look amazing for a wedding at home!
From The Bride:
Mohit and I had our Roka ceremony at home on the 15th of January and decided to get married super soon post roka. Our families got together and decided that 25th April would be the perfect date to tie the knot. We started our wedding preps from February and with just 2.5 months left we were on top of each and everything from day 1. We wanted to get married in Jaipur cause or it’s rich heritage and grandeur, so we decided to get married in Fairmont and started on the wedding planning with Perfexion events.
Everything was going perfect and we were super excited for our big day-
We were done with each and every bit of our planning - from decor to entertainment to food menu to the hampers. But just a week before the wedding - 2nd wave of Covid hit Delhi. We both were devastated with the news and everyone told us to postpone the wedding when things get better. We both were soo excited to get married to each other that postponing didn’t seem like the right choice to us, so we decided to go against everyone and plan the entire wedding in 3 days at home!
From a guest list of 600, we changed it to 50 and from venue in Jaipur to Home, everything was done in 3 days! We started our wedding functions from 23rd and got married on 25th.
In this entire process we realised that we both were the happiest cause we were among the closest of friends and family. Couldn’t have had a better wedding and both of us can happily say that it was the best decision to go ahead with the entire wedding rather than postponing it!
