She took time to understand our needs and planned in advance how she would deliver what we had envisioned. Ananya and her team were very pleasant to work with during my wedding days, in the midst of the third wave. They were professional and non-obtrusive, while capturing wonderful candid and portrait shots - the bridal picture set was especially amazing. Their photo editing was top quality. And they really captured that feeling of emotions and intimacy in a wedding. A reservation I did have was that we did have to follow up several times with them for some of the images and there was a staggered response rate, but I think this is something they can work on. It is also a good idea to specifically ensure the formal group photos you may want have been taken, as their main focus in the candid shots which they excel at. Nonetheless, I definitely requested them to come in for an event that was rescheduled for months later after seeing the quality of their work. I wish this talented team all the success they deserve!

Ananya covered a wedding for a friend and I liked the pictures she had taken for her, especially the bridal portraits, so I decided to book her. Process was very smooth, I got in touch with her and she contacted me, took details about the number of people and the venue, etc. and sent me a contract which was well elaborated and explained everything in detail. She accommodated to our requirements and reached the venue well in time. Coming to her work, even though some deadlines were exceeded by a week or so, we got all the photos and videos within a period of 3-4 months . It was my brother's destination wedding in Jaipur. I had fallen in love with Ananya's work after looking at just one picture on her Instagram feed. We were wanting candid photography and it seemed to be her forte. She met my family and understood our requirements in one meeting and gave us an assurance very confidently making us stress free. We had requested her to get us drone permissions which were extremely difficult but just when we had lost hope due to her consistent efforts she managed to get them approved for both days as promised. She and her team (Deepak , our favourite) were on their toes, very alert and efficient during all the functions. When it comes to deliverables, the short film/teaser that was shared made us emotional and happy at the same time. The pictures were amazing and just to our liking 'candid and crisp.' The colors, aesthetics, tones and clarity was a bonus. We were extremely excited to see the long film.We loved the videography and ofcourse the background score ( :P ) which took repeated attempts and almost tested Ananya's and Vardaan's (editor) tolerance and patience to fulfill our punjabi interests and keep it fun. Coffee table album layouts were acting up but with Ananya's diligence (again) ,she made sure it worked out to our taste. All in all, a big shout out to Ananya and her entire team for capturing the two day affair and providing visuals for us to revive and enrich our memories of the wedding.

For starters, she was constantly in touch with me for months before the wedding discussing ideas, asking questions and building a rapport with me. During the 2-day event, she was simply super. We got married in June,2016. Ananya was recommended by a cousin. Having already searched through a lot of photographers online, we instantly liked her work on her pages. Once you get through her,the rest of the process was seamless. Her work is outstanding. She obviously has an eye for detail and impeccable timing. The mix of shades she used was vibrant yet subtle and really made every pic stand out. She is very passionate to her craft and you feel at ease with her calm demeanor. During the wedding , some of the functions went on till probably past midnight but she was around smiling silently looking for little moments here and there. Looking back,for the rate she charged,it was an absolute steal. The only issue is she takes so many awesome pics that its difficult to pick among them to share with others :D. Her work is classy without being too flashy! Book her much in advance cos am sure she gets filled real soon.

I am very disappointed in her professionalism, She was very nice and responsive to my queries at the beginning but once everything was over- full payment was made- she didn?t care much after that. I asked her so many times to add a few video clips I wanted in the film, she said we can?t do that it won?t look good blah blah. I told her that she can use the film she wanted for her marketing but for my personal use I wanted to have other moments added on to my video. She did not listen to that and did what she wanted. She promised that she will do as many edits I wanted for my photos ? Nope that was a lie as well, She only did what she wanted and never got back with the ones I requested her to do. Reception video ? It has been a year, we are still waiting to receive that video. She lied that she sent ?TWO? parcels but somehow all the parcels keep getting stuck at the post station. I asked her for the tracking number ? she never got back to me. Eventually since last Sept 2016 she stopped answering my messages on what?s app , facebook or even phone calls. I can see that she has read them but no replies. She always had an excuse for everything- either she is sick or so much work ? something wrong with her personal life blah blah. I have been so patient with her this whole time but she misused my trust and patience. I reviewed her films yesterday and that?s when I got the WhatsApp message from her about why I gave her a bad review a year later ? ?for no reason? . She is so unprofessional she does not understand the concept of customer care / customer is always right and comes first . She had the chance to change situation around and try to fix things but instead she goes on to blame me again in a very unprofessional rude tone that you do not want to hear from someone you pay a LOT of money for your best day?s memories. Her biggest problem is she is very very unprofessional and does not appreciate her clients genuinely. she only cares for her money and only does things that she likes for her portfolio. it?s all about her not about you or your emotions. She is in a very wrong profession. She needs to understand that there is so much competition out there that if she wants to survive in this industry for the long run, customer service needs to come first before anything else. Be nice and truthful to your customers. Do not make fun of their requests on your facebook page. Yes you might have more technical knowledge of things but the client set you are dealing with is very niche and emotional . you need to respect their emotions not make fun of them or discredit them. There are plenty of other things I am frustrated about but I don?t want to remember the mess ups because it makes me more and more angry every time I think about it. She takes on two three assignments at one time, this will jeopardize your wedding coverage. My advice to everyone it that if you are looking for someone sincere and professional ; DO NOT HIRE HER, She is none of them. She needs to take some basic business classes if she wants to stay in this business.

Considering it was a cross-cultural wedding, we were looking for someone who could capture the essence of the wedding without making it look overbearing. We wanted subtlety as well as some good shots and Ananya and her team did a wonderful job. After few meetings she could gauge what exactly we were looking for and the photographs are a testimony of how beautifully she has executed our thoughts. What we admired most were the candid shots of the wedding day which are just so apt and taken in the right frame. During the wedding there are ephemeral moments which you would like to cherish; some of the photographs have been able to evoke such feelings of nostalgia from us. What we admired most was her patience and she and her team delivered the photographs, video and the albums in a professional manner but never losing that personal touch. I hired Ananya Rijhwani in 2014 to cover my wedding for a day only. Like many of you out there, I overestimated her potential by seeing the portfolio that she claims is her & paid her 30K in advance ? all in good faith. On the day of my wedding, this girl landed in my house where we treated her all fair and square because she was going to click the most beautiful pictures from the most beautiful day of my life. But all she was ? unprofessional, lazy, sloppy, immature and a big goof-up. She screwed up the most beautiful day of my life. From morning till evening, she continued using laziness as an excuse for not taking out the camera from her luggage and not clicking any pictures. She left my parlor early since she wanted to reach the venue first and take some shots. But she did not. I don?t know where she went, because we continued getting in touch with her and she did not show up at the venue till 9 pm. From 9 am to 9 pm, she did not do anything substantial apart from cribbing and behaving like a kid who wants free lollypops but doesn?t want to move one finger to get her act together. I paid her 30 k to click good photographs. But she clicked no pictures of mine, none of the groom. She roamed here and there like a lost person. All my relatives continued pushing her for the pictures but she just escaped the spots and sat in a corner chatting up with her friends over the phone. She did not even deliver us the pictures and escaped with our hard drive. After weeks of continuous follow-up and she not picking up my calls, she sent my hard drive with pictures which were a joke. She edited only 3 of my pictures. Mind you ? she charged for candid photography and editing my pictures and album. All she delivered were a handful of bad quality shots ? unedited ? uncharmed. I don?t know whose shots she claims to be hers. But she is a big time fraud. Save yourself. Don?t hire her. Save your wedding. Celebrate your wedding. Don?t ruin it by hiring this lazy girl. Please note that even after paying 30 k in advance to her, and following up like crazy with her, she did not pick my calls, continued saying that she was busy or sick or ill & did not edit any of my pictures. I lost my money. Moreover, I lost my precious day with no good photos. Ladies (Boys) - You deserve a celebration and not a loot on the most beautiful day of your life. DO NOT HIRE HER
