So, to write a review is an easy task. But being in this detail is a different level. To continue on what the review of Mehak Anand's review below is disappointment. I think in life the patience and what person we are is tested in difficult times. I agree I chose Sahej for her work which I WAS happy about. I was happy with her for my engagement make-up truly for which I thanked her too. However, for my wedding make-up which was completed in just an hour or so was something I was not happy about. I think everybody would agree that Indian weddings take time and hassle happens everywhere. Something similar happened with me on the wedding day. It was an out-station wedding where I paid the travel charges as well. But was disappointed with the behavior and the wedding make-up. The eye-lashes were moving out of place, my eyes turned black due to the kajal. the reason I received was my watery eyes. But the point was, why did I pay if the make-up artist couldn't fix such issues? I have the eye-lashes not in place in almost all my wedding pictures. In addition to this, the tone with the photographer was not pleasing at all. In today's era, everybody have their getting ready shots, but I don't have them as my make-up artist was getting late, as she has another make-up. I don't think it was a very good option to pick another make-up that too at a different location on the same day of wedding make-up. Things get delayed that's the most obvious thing to happen at the wedding. But just because the make-up artist has another appointment fixed at a different location, my make-up thing was hampered. This is not justifiable at all I guess. In addition to this, giving explanations is not necessary, if there is a negative feedback given, it should have been taken nicely. I was not happy with the make-up, disappointed with the behavior. the wordings used were: If you are late than a particular time, I'll leave without doing the make-up, which was not professional at all. Second was: if you go for the getting ready shots, you will do the draping yourself. Not good again. According to me, if we get help with make-up, photography, the people helping us must be accommodating enough to deal with difficult situation instead of creating panic which in turns reflects on your face. Wedding was just one day, but hassle created by the ones we asked to help (for which we paid obviously) is unwelcoming. There were other make-up artists at the venue as well, they had many people to attend, but I didn't hear anything of this sort from anybody. A true review by the BRIDE; not to prove anything; just to share.

Sahej is only nice till she wants someone to book with her and goes ahead and deleted if people leave any negative remarks about her. She booked too many makeup appointments while having a bride who was having a destination wedding. Usually weddings do take time and sometimes one is not aware of the time or a fix schedule. She threatened to leave without doing the brides makeuo and did such a shitty job that the lashes were falling out. Her behaviour with the photgrapher was soo rude that one cant describe. Like she was there to do her job so was everyone else. Greed is not good that u book back to back appointments and arrive before appointments and then threaten to leave. Woild not recommend booking her specially knowing that she is so rude with other people

Sahej was the first makeup artist I contacted 6 months before my wedding and I am so glad I chose her. In the run up to the wedding, I made several requests to Sahej and she took care of all. On the D-day, she was polite, friendly and yet extremely professional. I loved the final look and so did others. I was recovering from a bad bout of acne and she managed to hide my acne without making me look pancaked. The makeup stayed for a good 7-8 hours. The dupatta was draped so well, it didn't move at all and I barely felt its weight. Sahej also did my mother's makeup and she was satisfied with the final look. Cannot recommend her enough for your wedding. Also a shout out to Twinsmagicc who did my hair and managed to make a bun with barely any length. The hairstyle was comfortable and I didn't spend hours taking off my pins. Together they made such a great team who were fun to work with.

This is going to be a long one so apologies in advance. I am Delhi based and was to get married in Chandigarh.. a city I know no one in. I was looking for a makeup artist and came across Sahej's profile on WedMeGood. What instantly clicked with me was the fact that none of her makeups were cakey. I loved how she accentuates the strong features of her brides while keeping everything else minimal. Once the booking formalities were down, she proactively got in touch with me several times to get a sense of my taste in makeup. My wedding was a north-south mashup so the brief was very specific, with two very different looks over two days. Come the D day, Sahej was super punctual, very energetic and full of positive vibes. It was like having a friend over for a dress up party! She didn't get bogged down by the presence of people with me, kept chatting up during the makeup and made sure I was having fun. She even went a step ahead and have me a wake up call the day of my wedding (it was an early morning South Indian wedding). Sahej and her team (special mention to Chetan and Mato) are exactly who you need to pretty you up for your D day. Now coming to the makeup. One word- PERFECT. My makeup felt and looked wonderful. She knows her makeup and knows how to deal with different face types. She doesn't unnecessarily lather you with products and likes to keep it simple and elegant. My suggestion-just sit back and let her do her magic. You will be happy with the result. I was amazed how she nailed the two looks over two days. If you ask me to choose one over the other.
